Do you think the 14th gen is worth the wait?
ОтветитьAnd just like that amd release 6500-7000 MHz ram code ...
ОтветитьPeople tend to forget that since the 14th Gen is 7nm Intel 7 node, they now have more transistors than the 13th Gen which means 7nm is a massive improvement against the 13th Gen in terms of raw performance, lesser heat and lesser power draw.
ОтветитьAre they still just shoving more volts into the processor to get the performance up? Because in 2023 I'm no longer impressed by paying more to get comparatively less. 5600x3D pushes out 12900K performance at like, a quarter of the power consumption, on a much MUCH less expensive platform. Intel sucks.
Ответитьlol, it's literally another Alder Lake refresh
Intel is literally close to becoming the same mess it has been 3 years ago with endless generations of almost the same thing (except even higher power usage) on the same node over and over.
But some "tech" tubers be like "is Intel crushing AMD?" lmao
What is your opinion on ryzen 7600x or wait for some intel for gaming?
ОтветитьJust recently went from
1600 to 5700x. Now I need a good gpu to go with it.
Most of the time the first gen 🧬 release feels like a beta so I might wait to a real and improved one 👍🏾
ОтветитьArrow lake will eat zen 5 by breakfast, you will see.
ОтветитьI have 11700k will update for maybe 15th gen or 16th gen
ОтветитьFrom a pure gaming perspective the 14900k gets 1FPS more than the 7800X3D for only $200 more. Not sure that's a value proposition I can stand behind.
ОтветитьMay be useful to pressure downward prices on the 13th gen, or as an extension of life for a 12th gen package
Ответитьthe 14th gen is way more interesting on laptop than desktop with its increased efficiency, iGPU and AI tile
ОтветитьI'll just keep my 12th gen CPU.
ОтветитьZen 4 is already crushed by 13 gen so not sure whats that about? Not to mention AMD canibalised its own product by real 2023 best seller in a form of 5800X3D. Cheaper, works with old DDR4 and ready to install on any previous Zen 3 board.
Ответитьyeah waiting for arrow lake my 9700k still doing allright 😁😁😁
Ответить15th gen will be the real deal. Especially 15600K which will most likely go toe to toe with the 13900K.
ОтветитьAren’t these only laptop tho? Im stuck with a ryzen 5800x and have micro lags in every game, im desperate for an upgrade.
Ответитьwait for arrow lake
Ответитьif they drop ryzen 8k or 9k and if intel release 15th gen that's the only time i'll switch platforms for now R7 5800X3D is still a better value.
Ответитьwell. IMO It can be max 5% better than 13gen or totally useless like haswell refresh. Time will tell. I'm definitely not interested and because of power consumption and platform longevity already upgraded from 4670K to ryzen 7770x
ОтветитьJust waiting for 6 core cpus to become 100$ or cheaper
ОтветитьAMD 8k Ryzen vs 15th gen Intel ; is this the next major CPU wars?
ОтветитьNice video. 14th gen Intel chips might outdo the current 7000 series Ryzen chips but the upcoming 8000 series Ryzen probably would out perform 14th gen Intel. So 14th gen intel is a gap filler between 7k and 8k Ryzen's?
ОтветитьI'm looking forward to dropping a 14th gen chip into my z690 board. Just installed a bios update which supports it. The i5 12400 will go to my son.
ОтветитьIntel is 10nm calling it process 7 it's not 7nm
Ответить14900k will have 6 P cores so you know. Not 8
Ответитьthe benefit of 14th gen which on desktop is just the Raptor Lake refresh is, as you point out, that it will work in existing LGA1700 sockets on 6xx and 7xx series motherboards (taking a leaf out of AMD's book, albeit somewhat inadvertently due to not getting their act together in time, and also cancelling products because of margins!). Personally I'm looking forward to the Arrow Lake series, at which point I expect I'll pull out my 7950X system and replace the two main components with an Intel processor and motherboard (or maybe I just replace my i9-12900 system)
ОтветитьEvery other year they crush each other and then its another year again. People should just focus on every 2 generation or more. Upgrade now and then in 2 years to 16th gen or whatever. NExt year Zen 5 will crush 14th gen and then 15th gen will pop out and crush Zen 5.
ОтветитьAnd Ryzen 8000 will crush 14th gen next year...
Ответитьi am here happy and stuck with my old and good xeon e5 2570v2
Ответитьhi vadim and thx again for this good video ;)
this gen not have value for change i w8 for next gen ! maybe have more performance jump
Ryzen 5600x is better than i5 11600k?
Ответитьand here i am stuck with my 9900k 😅
