Godamn ...this made me cry
Ответитьthe perfect character for the next dark souls
ОтветитьIf people want to see the true essence of who Boromir was as a person, before the ring corrupted his desire to do good and protect his people, then the scene with Merry and Pippin where he spars with them is everything. The way he laughs with them when they get one over on him, not a single sign of damaged ego or malice, just pure joy and amusement. That was what was at the heart of Boromir as a man.
Ответитьthe Song of Aragorn and Boromir, as told by Nienna.
ОтветитьTriggers memories of someone I used to know :D
ОтветитьHe is suchhhhh a good fighter ohmigod. Total gondor boss.
ОтветитьBoromir had a weak father and that was what failed him, not his heart.
Ответить😭😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьAs a kid I used to dislike Boromir... Today I respekt Boromir for what he was, a human. His inner conflict and how hurt he was. Boromir is indeed one of my fawourite charakters!!
ОтветитьThis is a beautiful tribute to an honorable character.
ОтветитьI feel like the promise Aragorn made to Boromir about not letting Gondor fall was something that REALLY kept him fighting onward
ОтветитьRemember guys, Boromir is litteraly the only real human of the fellowship, and with all is responsability and weakness is able to resist and then achive redemptions versus the call from the ring,
Isildur fall in about half day.
Beautiful
ОтветитьGondor is basicly our beloved europe and Boromir is a fcking patriot
ОтветитьBoromir represent redemption
Ответитьactually like a character in the game of thrones universe
Ответить"Forgive me, I did not see. I have failed you all." Such a beautiful line. So Christian too. How often do we not see the greater plan God has in place for us and the whole world, and fall into sin because of our own blindness and despair. Yet, like Boromir, it is never too late to repent of the evil we have done and seek reconciliation with the Lord who loves us and wishes to welcome us back into His grace.
ОтветитьMy favourite character from lotr
ОтветитьBoromir thought that the The One Ring was the last, pale light that still lingered in the West. In his final moments, he saw that it was really Aragorn, and died after swearing fealty to him.
ОтветитьI know that viggo Mortensen is great and has been nominated for THREE academy awards. BUT....In Lord of the rings,he does not have half of the gravitas and charisma that Sean Bean does. Fellowship is a masterpiece and the other two are good but somethings missing. Bean embodies Boromirs torment and desperation so well,he truly becomes larger than life and the script. Its a performance for the ages and he should have recieved some nominations. Everything else is black and white, evil and good, his Boromirs complexity and shades of grey.shades we all have, make this film so extremely emotional, the human in me feel for him. And he is one of the four leads in this film, hope you agree.
ОтветитьBoromir died a hero as is right.
ОтветитьPeople talk about how human Boromir was for falling, and they need to include that he got back up. Prov :24 v 16
ОтветитьRip my heart right out, why don’t you
Ответитьboromir was the purest reflection of mankind.
Ответитьgod damn
ОтветитьHe was just trying to protect his home he'll if I remember correctly he didn't even want to go his brother would have been there and most likely survive
ОтветитьIn live we are like Boromir, in death I hope we are like him as well
ОтветитьThose you encounter him as a villian are also corrupted by the lust of power and ambition . Boromir had everything but Faith and those who critisize him as a traitor lack the same.
ОтветитьГерой.
ОтветитьThis hits hard
Ответитьwho is here to watch all the scenes where he dies?
ОтветитьThis did it, it just did it. LOTR extended editions marathon inbound!! I've lost count a long time ago of how many times I've watched these movies. I've replayed Boromir's last stand more times than I've watched the trilogy itself. I've imagined " What if" scenarios in which he allows Aragorn, Galadriel or Gandalf to heal his wounds, enabling him to survive and continue loyally fighting for his people and his country. Teaming up with Faramir once again, or even bringing reinforcements to the battle of Helm's Deep, anything! However, I do appreciate his story as this is the ONLY example I think of when it comes to a Hero's Death. His sacrifice had an important impact on all the protagonists' committment, focus, determination and progression. He's a true hero in my book, a perfectly written character, especially in contrast and in combination with Faramir. If they ever did a "what if" chapter of Tolkien's Lore, Boromir and Faramir should be at the top of the list.
ОтветитьA tragic hero and a misunderstood man. His heart was in the right place. He acknowledged Aragorn as his king in his final moments which I find incredibly beautiful.
ОтветитьBoromir represents the humans in the Fellowship and boy he did, he did well.
ОтветитьJesus this shit got me crying in work. Amazing work
ОтветитьBoromir was a good guy
ОтветитьIf it wasn’t for Boromir Aragorn May have never been
ОтветитьOne of the best character story arches ever. A very real, caring, loving character. Admitted his mistake and went down fighting like a legend. Killing dozens by himself. He's just an epic character. A few moments of weakness.... just as everyone has, but he recognized his mistake and confronted it, confronted his fear, remembered his failure, and stood true to his oath. What a great character.
ОтветитьI come here when I want to cry
ОтветитьWow! Congratulations, the edit is truly fantastic.
ОтветитьWhat you did here is masterful. You truly understand the material and did something great with it. Massive congratulations!
ОтветитьBeautiful *Grown man weeping.
ОтветитьBeautiful edit.
The tragedy of Boromir, is that his greatest love, the love his people, his desire to preserve and renew them, is used by Ring to bring about his downfall.
The Ring used all desire for power to its own ends, even desire born from the best motives. That is why Gandalf feared it and why it was the final test for Galadriel, who had spent thousands of years desiring power for good ends.
🤘💯💜
ОтветитьIt was out of love for his people
Not hatred of his enemy
Where was Aragorn when Osgiliath fell? Where was Aragon when their enemies closed in around them? I think sometimes we forget that Boromir was forced to carry the burden that should have been upon Aragorn. The son of the steward had to do the job of the king because the king would not come. Without the king, he was driven to look elsewhere for the salvation of his people.
ОтветитьThat was beautiful. <3 He's a tragic hero, and it's wonderful to see him getting a little love.
Ответитьpure genius
