I am curious, what is the benefit on battery life? Can you actually trim the CPU down to last a week when you only want messages and e-mails coming in? Most of the time the LTE bands get higher and higher to get more speed but it drains the battery way faster. I noticed that a regular S8 has about 5% drop an hour on high speed LTE connections. It wont go any lower as it used to do. All day battery life is something you wanna stretch as far as possible if your on a trail and hiking. Sony used to do this up to 10 days, all changed because of higher frequencies of LTE bands. Only CPU Scheduling makes that possible even with core-parking and better low power modes. We want at least a 1% drop in battery level an hour and preferable less than that.
