How Good Is the Pixel 7a? | Pixel 7a Review

This dude is trying to make a name for himself by bashing Pixel phones. So lame!

I just bought the 6a. I dont keep up much with tech, so I didnt know this was out!
That being said, I am enjoying my Pixel 6a. All of my business stuff is in the Google ecosystem so this phone works great for me. I dont care much about refresh rates and stuff.

Second review on yt that's mentioned the quiet speakers on the 7a which is a bit odd as on gsmarena they rate the loudness on both the 7 and 7a as virtually identical and actually say the 7a sounded fuller.. also their review of the regular 7 speakers are stated as superb.. something's not matching up?

pixels break pretty easy I wouldn't be tossing it around. You said the pixel 7 pro is brighter. Obviously, it's almost twice the price.

Outdoor use the pixel 7a is very good clear and bright the speakers are fine use the official 30 watt charger plug from Google

I love my pixel 5 and always buy refurbished and love video camera and durability.

you keep referring to pixel phones using "stock android" they use "pixel experience" or whatever you wanna call it actually. stock android is different

By far my worst smartphone experience was the nexus 6p. From crashing to hardware and camera issues to the phone bricking after I moved, literally days after. Tried replacing, tried fixing, nothing. Google phones are beautiful devices but damn they're repetitive. One bad experience is enough to put people off and its important to understand that rather than bash him just cause you like google. We need to be objective about these products.

I really miss the iris sensor that Samsung had till s9. They worked great at night and day. I hate how people and companies are willing to sacrifice functionality over a little bit less bezels

I have got the pixel 7a last week but I only thing I dislike about the phone is that it gets hot for no reason and the charging speed that's it

Pixel is a super convenient and smart phone, but it's not good enough to be my main.

I was burned by the pixel phones and will never go back to the brand.

I have mixed feelings about my pixel 6; I got it used three weeks ago for $160, and for $160 I really like it, but if I bought this for $700, fuck no. For budget I agree with you that Google shouldve focused more on the A series

Sadly for those of us that don't want a Samsung or an iPhone, in the US that is, Pixel is one of the few choices left. We do have some offerings from Motorola, we also have the OnePlus 11 and now the Nothing Phone 2 but personally I like the software features on a Pixel and continue to stay with them. My 7 Pro has been fine since the 8 months or so I've owned it but I am very much looking forward to the 8 Pro since rumors on that seem very positive in terms of the improvements the Tensor G3 will be bringing with it.

As a pixel 6 user, your review of this phone isnt so different from what i currently own. Overheats? Check. Buggy software? Check. Unresponsive Fingerprint? Check. Complaint about the screen and video? Check. I was so close to upgrading to the pixel7a. I cancelled at the last moment. I think I'll stick with the 6 till next year when the samsung s24 comes out.

I watched your comparison video between the iPhone and S23 Ultra & one reason you may want to stay with the iPhone is that iMessage is free between iPhones but Google Messages is not free between Android Phones. Why can't Google make it free? Does it have to be SMS based?
