FSX/P3D free weather engine FSXWX review and installation

Today it’s down the page won’t open and connection closed app says ! Wtf

in this video i hear thunder, but i dont hear thunder in my app even though i see lightning. any advice?

Update it's working just did a 12 hours flight from Hong Kong to Los Angeles and it was amazing and the Jetstream tail wind was amazing

Not recommended for flights longer than 3hrs. They never came about to fix the issues with the stutters.

can i run fsxwx with rex4 ?

Should i run the FSX first or the FSXWX first?

Até que eu inicie no novo MSFS usarei o FSX para me adaptar mais, uma vez que sou relativamente novo na simulação.
Sei que o vídeo é antigo, mas estou na dúvida se o FSXWX injeta informações sobre precipitações (chuva, etc). Por exemplo, vi que no EGGL nesse momento está chovendo, mas ao carregar as informações no FSX isso não ocorre. Tentei mudar as datas, inclusive usando o ICAO local da minha cidade em datas de chuva, mas no simulador parece apenas alterar as nuvens.

Se for isso, não vai me servir. Queria apenas um programa para criar situações dinâmicas no tempo. Por exemplo, no departure o céu está limpo, mas no arrival pode estar chovendo.

Right now I'm using no add ons, but weather and clouds only appear near my aircraft's starting position. So after some distance, the clouds are non existent

THANKS for the video.... I just downloaded and its Version 1.6.1... Do we still need to change the FSX folders ? Have never done that and have noticed that many people start having more crashes after they mess with the default FSX Folders ! Thanks !

for the new users out there :
That's a very good program !... easy to install.
Just don't forget to, "right click" on it and then, run as administrator.
Run the program from OUTSIDE of the FSX or P3D folder, as stand alone !! (VERY IMPORTANT)
I did a whole flight with NO problems at all. I'm using P3D v4.5

This app dont working with FSX steam , dont recognize the FSX Steam Path. , i try with the root of the FSXSteam , and other directories including the weather or where stay the flight missions , but stay not connected . Anyone maked to work with Steam ?.

Since my default fsx static weather updates stopped working,there are no barometric pressure changes,so no matter where I fly to the altimeter is always set to 2992.

My FSXWX is not working anymore. Do you know why?

So full of bugs that it is not worth having. It will throw exceptions all te time, eventually crashing FSX entirely. When it works, it is great, but it is just way too unstable and unreliable to use if you are a serious simmer. Sad.

I did everything on the video but when I try to connect, it gives me a message "Exception received: 5", can you help me with that please?

I'm having issues installing FPUIPC. It's looking for prepar3d, and i don't have that. I only have FSX. Am i still able to use these add-ons?
