One of the best games of the last generation. And I have become the preacher of its gospel.
Ответитьthe "Yoko Oh No" I'll remeber that one Yahtz, thank you
ОтветитьHaving grown up watching Operation Petticoat I got it Yahtz.
...
I got it 😁😁😁
I got the Blake Edwards joke.
Ответить"make spears out of twiglets"
Well Grounded is probably the closest thing to that, and is also rather good :)
Subnautica in a Nuthsell:
Subnautica is a giant water level where you can build a nuclear reactor but a not a fucking harpoon
Thanks a lot, I'm tempted to try this game, learning that this game has a sodding ending. I'm terrible at these crafting games because my luck sucks shit through a crazy straw.
Ответить4 years later, and I keep coming back to this absolute masterpiece every time I get a desire to play Subnautica.
Ответитьi stepped onto my rocket without looking back..
i was pretty done, with "manage your inventory simulator" hey are you done playing that "manage the inventory" game yet?
almost, i just have to manage my inventory, then sort my inventory
jesus... just allow stacking FFS
hey yahtz I know you won't see this but if you wanted to do a quick re-review of this game, it got a huge update since 4 years ago that all but fixes the bugs. happy swimming!
ОтветитьWHO DARES TRESPASS UPON FORTRESS OCELOT ALPHA!?
Ответить“Set in food world where we have to make spears out of twiglets”
Was this nearly a prediction for Bugsnax?
I just see this and you and i say it correctly . Minor taur. Nice
Ответить“Who dares trespass on fortress ocelot alpha” makes me laugh every time I watch this
Ответитьlove this game so much shame the sequel missed the point just wasn't the same
ОтветитьWhen he referred to a pink submarine, I was like, "lols, that's like Operation Petticoat, that old Cary Grant movie where he gets his submarine painted pink, which is actually a bad color for a stealthy maritine vehicle, but that's a bit of a deep dive."
ОтветитьI did use the wiki exactly one time, but at that point it was because I had already spent hours searching for the place where the next story bit was, I knew where it was most likely, but I was having trouble finding it. I read on the wiki that I was looking in the right biome, and then once I started back up I found where I needed to go immediately, even though the only thing I had verified is that I was looking in the right biome.
I also remembered Yahtzee's review some four years later and thus knew what I would have to do to find cave sulfur, but his drawing greatly misled me; I found the first bit of it somewhere it wasn't even really inside a cave, and the other places I found it didn't look much like the drawing either.
I gave this game a try on this video’s recommendation and I don’t regret it one bit! I’d never done survival-crafting before but I was looking to get out of my comfort zone. I’m playing it again after FINALLY getting through RDR2 (Christ that game is a slog!) as a reward.
ОтветитьI’d actually like to see a survival game in food world. It lends itself well to different biomes, there are lots of creative creature designs u could make and it’s pretty unique
Ответитьeasily the most blue a zero punctuation video has ever been
ОтветитьSame thing happened with me and the cave sulfur
Ответитьi got it. the blake edwards was brilliant.
ОтветитьWithout pretentious cinematics somehow the end was surprisingly emotional. I bet everyone looks back before entering the shuttle.
Ответитьjust dropping in to say this is still one of my favorite zp's
ОтветитьYou sound happy to have played this game.
ОтветитьActually sir, some of us DO get that reference.
"Targeted Tanker - SANK TRUCK."
It's a fun game. Alittle spooky if your like me and don't like ocean monsters making scary noises and then slapping you in the back and being the size of the whale. But it's fun
Ответитьcan someone exmplain me the "blake edwards" joke? he was right, i dint got it
ОтветитьThis dude talk so fast wtf...
ОтветитьIt’s a good thing he didn’t go with the first paint job for the sub, that’s a pretty strange color to be painting government property
ОтветитьFYI, if you lose a prawn suit or seamoth, you can just pick it up using the vehicle bay on the Cyclops.
ОтветитьI called my submarine “SS Pepperland” so I’m glad he chose a Beatles name too
ОтветитьHe’s right… I didn’t get it.
ОтветитьI'm voicing a banal opinion.
ОтветитьI thought I'd go though reading every little of information, utterly immersing myself in the world like I did with the mass effect series. But I'm a parent now, so I'm racing though just trying to find the next thing before the little one wakes up and I'm out of time.
ОтветитьFirst day: swim into seaweed and get mauled by a stalker,
2: get knife and take revenge
Okay, I have to ask.
Why the reference to Operation Petticoat? It was a war/comedy movie from 1959 directed by Blake Edwards involving a pink submarine.
I still don't get why people are so casual about spoiling the damn endings...
ОтветитьJust started playing this tonight on Xbox Game Pass and absolutely hooked...
ОтветитьCan you review factorio? I find it strange you haven't yet :p
ОтветитьWHO DARES TREESPASS ON FORTRESS OSOLOT ALPHA
Ответитьlove how it's universal to hate the sulphur cave bastards and the mindfla- I mean warpers
ОтветитьOmg I painted my sub yellow as well!
ОтветитьFortress ocelot alpha!!!!
ОтветитьThis game is so amazing im so hooked I don't care about any other game right now I just want subnautica omg love it
Ответитьhey blake edward i got that joke
ОтветитьMy only criticism about this game is the Prawn Suit. Everyone loves the Prawn Suit, but it was honestly worse and slower than just swimming around by yourself. I would dread traveling in it because my progress speed would be cut in half and my blood pressure would skyrocket to unhealthy levels until I was literally raging because I got stuck on a stone that jutted slightly out of the ground.
