Another really good one ! Interesting watch. Hats off for artists giving back to the community and even willing to step into the spotlight. I’m a private person I’m not sure I could handle cameras and still maintain my initial goal. Then you have the technical info on the other interview which is super interesting watching someone on their quest for knowledge. I really enjoyed that last bit where she states even though she’s a hs drop out and she’s a starving artist, she can still have the drive to learn as much as she can and to inform people about what’s going into their bodies. I’d be curious if the reason there’s nothing on it out in the ether is due to the secretive nature of tattooing? If maybe the fda and outsiders start digging into the once underground ways of tattooing they may inadvertently force it to go back that way. It’s been such a protected and coveted craft. Thanks again for making these videos! Keep it up!!! I saw you started a new adventure at a new tattoo parlor. Good luck

This is one of the better episodes, thanks for taking a deeper dive instead of the more generic route. I think it is more than essential to have the knowledge of our craft to ensure professionalism within our clients instead of half jokingly saying " I dont know, I didnt go to college" or something along those lines.

Definitely red for me. Burns going in takes forever to heel. I should have realized it 50 years ago when I got my first one. But it was thought to be normal.

theres a book called Tattood skin and health published in 2015 that has breakdowns of all chemicals used in the making of tattoo pigments and what potential harm they may cause. this book is the reason the eu has such strict regulations on the tattoo industry there. i tell everyone that sits in my chair the dangers of getting tattooed but no one listens, people are more interested in self identity than self preservation.

if you do some research on what "skin" is, you'll understand that it the largest ORGAN we have and it has a function when we as tattooers inject pigment into the cell, the cell looses its ability to function, its not the pigment its the process of putting pigment in the cell that kills the cells function. its function is to absorb vitamin d from the sun which then turns into human growth hormone while in REM sleep to heal your body, if we destroy this function with tatttoos we are essentially killing people slowly.
