I recently was looking at a dark glass pre amp DI EQ Distortion thing, I just couldn't justify the price. Found the JOYO monomyth and I love it (some demo vids are like fast food commercials, the burger looks amazing but it really looks like it sat in a wet plastic bag for a week), JHS is NOT one of them. I'm now looking to fill gaps in my sound with JOYO. I'm eyeing that octave pedal pretty hard

Does JHS have a cab sim/ir or is something like the clover the closest?

So I have a question for everyone here, Josh included: which option should I consider for playing at home, recording into an interface when I'm away from the studio, and general domestic amplification -- the Joyo Cab Box, or Two Notes Torpedo Cab M+? I can get the latter used for around the same price I can get the Joyo new.
Really would like to hear any possible opinions, and thanks in advance.

I have the joyo British sound overdrive. It's great as well as the D-seed delay with reverse, mod analog and reverse . I can get some sweet sounds out that I can't get with my boss dd3. Joyo= good value

These pedals look great. Kinda drooling over both the Aquarius and Atmosphere tbh. Been wanting a Boss DD-8 but could get both those pedals for the same price. The only thing I don't like is why are the switches not center aligned...don't know if my OCD could handle that 🤣

Wait a second, does the Joyo R-08 Cab Box make this an ampless setup? meaning I can drive my guitar, some pedals, straight into a Joyo R-08 Cab Box which connects to my Audio interface?

I've got Atmosphere Reverb, 6 band EQ, Noiste Gate, British Amp Pedal, American Amp Pedal, AcTone amp pedal, Orange Sound amp pedal, Vintage Overdrive, Avalon Compressor, all from Joyo and I couldn't be happier with the tones Im able to produce. I completely replaced my random pedals for a complete JOYO signal chain. Amazon has a deal right now for An Atmosphere and a Buffer for 97. Pretty good deal.

Joyo's have been pretty good to me so far. The atmosphere reverb and Aquarius delay combined together is like shoe-gaze heaven.

I have the Joyo Vision stereo mod pedal, I wanted to compare it to the Flamma Stereo Mod pedal. The vision has a better visual layout for knob tweaking and I like it a little more, but it dampens the volume about 10%, only one of my pedals that does this.
At the moment I have it in my mono synth chain, I run an EH pulsar trem into an Arion phaser which has stereo outs, I run that into the Joyo Vision which then goes into my Nux Duotime. There's an awful lot of galaxy to explore in there.

I have an Ammoon Pockverb, that mixes Joyo Atmosphere and Aquarius for a very good price.

Great shout out to NY/PJ. I played both of those albums all the time in high school and college. I Got ID also includes part of the melody to Young's Cinnamon Girl. Naturally, this is my favorite collaboration.

The pedals may sound very well, but I got the Aquarius Delay, which Time knob doesnt work properly anymore. I also have their batterie and only after 2 months its not working either, even after I send it back once already! It only powers 3 of my standard 9v 100 mA pedals and thats it.
I treat my pedals with care and it bothers me that noone does any long time testing, even though I know that its probably hard or not possible to do.

Anyways big fan of the show, cant say anything good about Joyo tho…
In my opinion u can buy used pedals for a little more like MXR, Tce, ehx that will last…

I bought a Tauren about a year ago based on this video. Me like. It complements my MXR cube streamer very nicely. Recently bought the Joyo octave fuzz, also a good pedal.

Thanks for another informative video. I remember when I went through the military "encryption black box repair technician" course (circa 1982). On one of the assignments, we were given a nameless coverless guitar pedal. Every group was given a different pedal. We had to document how electronic signals can be manipulated and modified. We had to draw a schematic, and explain how our assigned guitar pedal worked and what it did. Very good lesson. I decided I liked playing with guitar pedals much more than encryption equipment.

Joyo D-Seed 2 delay. Stereo delay with ping pong, tap tempo and even a looper at a bargain price. Not going to say all the delays are perfect (or even that good, lol) but there are few in there that I do like; tape, filter, analogue and space all sound good to my ear!

That Zip Amp sure was juicy. Need a JHS clone please. :)

Why don't guitars use XLR? Wouldn't it get rid of noise from Bluetooth etc? Can someone explain why 1/4" is better than XLR for guitar?

I've been daunted with only wanted "legit pro" gear. Ya know. Which means I haven't bought anything in a while. I might be able to start buying joyo once a month. I cannot do that with other companies nor would I because I don't trust them lol. Not for those gouged prices sorry

I have the Baatsin which is some kind of a cheap Bonsaï. It's quite correct and I like it.
But don't buy the Vision R9 multi modulation. It sounds as it is priced.

That Cab Box is just too much! Amazing!

I had the Atmosphere briefly, and I really didn't like it. There's this weird dissonance going on amidst some of the settings, especially with the treble turned up. It's heard in this clip. Not for me. I'm a reverb snob with odd tastes I suppose. Favorites are my trusty Behringer Digital Reverb, Astral Destiny, Ethereal, and the Flamma FC02. I like a lot of weird reverbs...
That delay sounds great though. I may jump on that if I see one cheap enough.

Aren't Joyo doing the Thomann branded pedals? Or am I mixing them up?
