Matt you are such a positive inspiration I love watching your videos and each time I rewatch them I learn a little bit more I can't wait to put your plans I bought over a year ago into action. Thank you so much for being so unapologetic about your relationship with Christ.
ОтветитьI just recently found your channel and really appreciate your videos. Thanks for the uplifting words. I do astrophotography when I'm not in my workshop. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьGreat video thank you for your video post..
ОтветитьI noticed your "John 3:15" mallet and your "In God we Trust" hat and thought wow, this guy must be a believer. Then you brought it all home at the end when you talked about the end of life and that your joy comes from the Lord! I'm so glad that you are bold enough and not ashamed to talk about your faith. I immediately subscribed after hearing your testimony, God bless you from a fellow believer!
ОтветитьNice shop, and nice ending!
ОтветитьI have suggestion for you for your tabletop drill press if this is still the same setup today. I realize I'm responding to an older video. Have you seen some ladies that have a kitchen aid stand mixer in the kitchen? Its big, clunky and heavy for some women to be lugging out of the cabinet. There's a company that makes a pull out shelf for one and i wonder if you could modify to have your drill press spring out and up like a mixer? The easier choice would be to put it on a stand and a mobile base or just get a floor modelnon a mobile base and keep it on the left of the miter saw station. Also i wanted to comment on some shorts i saw the other day. One was a pull flush cut saw and the other was a combination square. Both afgiliate links that were floating on the screen were to products that you weren't using in the videos. It looked unprofessional IMHO. I was was interested in the combo square with the red anodized aluminum handle. Which brand was that. I presume woodpeckers but could be wrong. Thanks for all of your videos! I really appreciate you and thanks for the tips on the pocket hole jig when the material is less than the dimensional marking. I've overlooked that but luckily haven’t been burned yet. Thanks again!
ОтветитьMatt, I like your channel, and enjoy all of your vids! However, personally I would make my own ‘tool wall’ with pride. I would have no interest in a cheap looking tool wall made from tin sheeting. Len (Devon 🇬🇧)
ОтветитьAmen, brother. Thanks for the tour.
ОтветитьLove your content! I'm looking to revamp my workshop. Thought I thought of everything until I saw this video. Lol back to the drawing board
ОтветитьI've only been on the channel for about 6 months, and it has been a very educational and rewarding experience -- on multiple levels. Your faith is not my faith, but I respect how you express yours without "pushing" it on me. When I was a kid and they passed the plates to take up the collection, Reverend Chase used to quote part of Matthew 5:16 -- "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works." For me, that pretty well sums up 731.
ОтветитьAn you use date blades on the saws top table saw, I purchased a Hercules, and as far as my skills go I cannot put Cato blades on it. 🤨
Ответитьamazing ! lot of inspiration you share ! thx man !
ОтветитьI'm getting into woodworking. Maybe for a side job, maybe just to learn new skills. I want to tell you how refreshing it is to see and hear someone who is upfront about the power of Christ in their life. I'm 70 and retired as a pastor two years ago. I've appreciate your builds and life. Peace brother.
Ответитьoh the good old days
ОтветитьHere is me in a 1 car garage, and I can say that is a mansion you have, haha
ОтветитьImpressive video. Learnd a lot. Thank you
ОтветитьLaughing very much OUT LOUD at 3am in a silent house… “ you’ve never seen a U-Haul behind a hearse”. Growing in a firehouse 🚒 and ER🚑, … Also surrounded by loggers🪵 and construction workers…
I have heard my fair share of colorful sayings 😈😂… I haven’t heard the message using your particular delivery though 👩🏻🍳💋🤌🏻
Thanks for the tour may God bless you and your family
ОтветитьGreat video as ever , well done, have found a few useful ideas so THANKS 👍🏻, in return couple of thoughts that might help
The air gap in the hutch tool store , try adding some foam pipe insulation tube cut a slit open with box cutter and should just slide on the edge of slider door to help seal the gap,
also for the very deep drawers, would you consider insetting a shallow drawer inset for top half of the drawer to make more usable space .
Hope that helps 😉 Keep up the good work 💪🏻
I’ve been looking at properties in Arkansas they seem reasonable compared to the ridicules prices in California. Oh and I’m nut a California “fruit or nut”. I planted roots here and raised our family here while I was in the Navy, but now that we’re old, we’re thinking about moving to a stat that recognizes the Constitution 👍👍
ОтветитьAnd 2023 tour?
ОтветитьLoved the witness at the end!
ОтветитьI think all of the drawers are Mrs. 731 drawers, and the top right drawer is not your drawer. lol
ОтветитьBrother, shops are always a WIP...lol. Thanks for what you do and keep posting more content.
ОтветитьGreat video!!!!!
ОтветитьPraise God for you and Amy!
ОтветитьEveryone seems to think that I have bare walls, but my walls are co feed with stuff
ОтветитьMy garage/shop is such a Messi can barely walk through it, plus we inherited a small dog that can’t seem to go outside and uses the garage /ship floor as her toilet. 🤯
ОтветитьLots of great details here. One question: what light color are your shop lights? 5000K?
ОтветитьI have every tool you have in a one car garage. Imagine that.
Ответитьjoy and RELIG ----- many with or without RELIG have JOY -
real joy JOY BY NO REASON or out-inside person or things
So true on the end of life, great to see!
ОтветитьThat's all the wood storage space you have? So, you go buy the amount of wood you need for each project?
ОтветитьAmen brother. Love the video.
ОтветитьLove your commentary on what brings you joy brother. God bless us all ❤🙏🏽
ОтветитьYour gym/workshop is so sick. Definitely some good inspiration for me
ОтветитьInstead of removing the hutch door, try adding stick-on weatherstripping to eliminate the bottom gap. It's pretty cheap and easy to replace if it gets torn-up. There's a few different types of foam available to choose from. Could give you the dust control you were lookin' for.
ОтветитьLove the videos. You have inspired me to build my own workshop. Keep up the great work
Ответитьstill 25% bigger than my space lol
ОтветитьI almost didn’t watch to the end. Glad I did because you saved the best for last. Keep sharing the message brother. God bless you and your family. 💙
ОтветитьIf you want smaller drawers in the workbench, why not just build them? Your workbench video is great and gave me some good ideas, but I doubt it's just going to be a single build
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Can you link the insulation you're using for the garage doors? I didn't see it in the list.
ОтветитьGod bless You!
ОтветитьI tell ya matt you have straight showed me the way brotha lol.,just wanna say thank you..with your help my shop is slowly gettin there..thank you ......
ОтветитьI have 1/2 of a 2 car garage. So one wall, cause the front is a door and the back is water heater, etc. LOL!!!
ОтветитьI find it funny(yes, I know I'm a beginner) when I see content creating woodworkers with a bunch of tools. When I saw that this Mr. has 2 Festool dust extractors, I went nuts! 😂
ОтветитьYou’re a well prepared guy so you probably have them, but the only thing I didn’t see was a fire extinguisher.
Ответить
