they all hit lats .... in fact if the grip was too wide it would put more emphasis on the upper back and the teres muscles ..... but whether it is wide , neutral or close grip its all LATS ... each grip will have different secondary muscle that target
for example an underhand grip will traget more of the biceps instead of back muscles... along with the lats

No… out muscles are meant to work in coordination. If you wanna change it up sometimes then do that, but lat pull downs target the lats, as well shoulders, biceps, and forearms, period. Stop overthinking and just lift man.

Ответитьscientifically its shown that a medium width grip is probably the best all around but the wider the more emphasis it puts on upper back and rear delts at the cost of some lat debelopment but its still mainly a lat excersise.u should just do what u like the most and also if u do alot pf shoulder extension do wider grip and if u do allot of should adduction do closer grip
