so does dull totems just completly not matter and do nothing other than getting some extra bloodpoints?

Hex totems: On fire (hex perks)
Dull totem: not on fire (back ups for hex perks

So what is the advantage of destroying dull totems? I am kinda new to the game

There are too many spam free gems and coins for free generators, I can't believe people fall for those tricks. The only site that works is Gamecrook, tried and tested.

when should you do dull totems? i always hear ppl complain ab others cleansing dull totems mid match instead of doing a gen or getting chased.

Best DBD tutorial I've seen, and I've watched A TON! You have a new follower/subscriber. Every other tutorial I've seen, until this..are pretty vague to me personally to say the least. They don't touch on several things that should definitely be known by both killers and survivors! They demonstrate thing's regarding that perk, add on, offering..etc. However, unfortunately they typically do so without explaining important information players should already know about that specific character. Particularly novices. I've owned the game around half a year and really enjoy the depth to each storyline. It's very intriguing and has very detailed stories that keep the game play fresh. I love that the game is 5 years old and it's still updating, bringing fresh modifications to keep the game evolving as well. There are just so many things about it very unclear, a ton of which I have to watch tutorials about particular details that should be explained more clearly though imo. That being said.. awesome game! I just really wish so many more things such as this were explained by the game itself. I've often earned perks, add ons etc. at times, that I have NO idea how to use to their fullest potential. Example, I ended up here because the game itself, atleast to me personally.. doesn't explain what a damn totem is supposed to be. Thing's it does describe, seem to usually be in some strange cryptic way.. Love the game, just a lot of underlying things that would be very beneficial to know! I personally wish there was some type of mission like story or campaign mode that you could play solo. One that included all the different characters to shed more light on how everything evolved as it is with information about how those specific characters should be used. Besides trying to figure out the best way to use your skills, perks, and whatever else that is best suited for your character by trial and error. Thank you!

its crazy how this 10 min video can save so much time. i got the perk small game and was interasted into finding what totems do, so i searched it on wiki and wow it's really hard to understand all of these things ( it took me 30 mins to give up and search it on yt lol). also nice work <3

so cleansing a dull totems isnt really worth it then considering it takes 14 seconds?

It sucks your can't tell which totem is which while being killer , there are so many times I protect the wrong one.

When I see a glowing totem I don’t get anything come up saying press this button to cleanse it? Do you need to be a certain survivor or use a certain perk to be able to cleanse them? I just started playing this game sorry

So if a killer doesn't have a hex totem is it pointless the do totems or does it do something else sorry so impatient cant wait and watch the hull clip

That explains why there was no warning for skill checks when I was playing survivor a few weeks ago, I'm relatively new to DBD and was so confused when my skill check warning wasn't there
