The easiest route to hike up Pen Y Fan (South Wales' tallest mountain)

Walk up Pen Y fan, the tallest mountain in south Wales, via the easiest route with us! This whole route can be completed in around 3 hours so is perfect to do with kids, friends and family.
Pont Ar Daf car park is at a reasonably high elevation so it’s much easier to hike this route compared with the other major trails.

The views here are among the best in the Brecon Beacon. It makes a very good spot to hunt for sunsets and sunrises because you could hike the route easily in the dark.
