Plz confirm if this works. My friend got ark from Steam and I got it from the Microsoft store and we want to play together on a Host Non dedicated server. Will it work? If not plz help me be able to play with my friend.

idk if u gunna see this but when i make a server and my friend goes to try and type in the name on all the right setting for the join ark the server does not pop up and i have beeen at thuis for a hour
