He made his opponent run from side to side and he didn't mind if rallies got very long because more shots his opponents would chase down or even if he is running more than his opponent in a point, it actually benefits him more in a long run than winning a short point due to his incredible endurance. The fittest guy to ever play the game of tennis. Even watching his playing in his 40's he hasn't seemed to slowed down. He could still be the fittest guy if he would still be on tour. Thank you david so much for that about a decade when I watched almost all your matches. My favourite player since 2007!
ОтветитьAt one time, Ferrer was 5-6 against Djokovic . . . before Novak truly became Novak.
ОтветитьMurray vs. Ferrer was SUCH a fun rivalry though.
ОтветитьMy mom bought me a Prince EXO Tour 100 for $100 off of Craigslist as my first tennis racket in high school. That's when I became a big Ferrer fan. I miss that racket. I miss Ferrer. He is a class act and you can see the players applaud many of the shots because they respect the hell out of his grind too. That guy would run down anything. Great tennis player and good man to look up to. Thank you, David!
ОтветитьFighting spirit, sportsmanship and class - David Ferrer is timeless! 🙂
ОтветитьThis guy rotated on his forehand more than any other almost off his feet every forehand he definitely maximized his talent if only he had a serve.
Ответитьwhat’s up duder shmooder?
ОтветитьThere was a time where the ATP World tour finals was the best tournament of the year
ОтветитьLacking a definitive shot, but his style was always a problem for all players. In the ATP Tour, David was nicknamed "The Wall" for a thing...
ОтветитьI, can’t even walk properly after one smoke, damn it.
ОтветитьWhat a character!!!!
ОтветитьWhat a fucking legend David was. I remember being a kid playing a regional tournament and meet him in the changing room of the tenis club. We were alone so he asked about my game and wish me luck. Such a humble guy. That day will be always on my memory.
ОтветитьI miss Ferrer so much!
ОтветитьIf nick krygios had his heart and mind he would be 10 time major winner
ОтветитьHe is an inspiration for all players... Never give up. He's my favorite player. I've never missed his matches. He's also Jimmy Connors 's favorite player...
Ответитьwarrior
ОтветитьIm really proud of what he has done in his carreer. Still amazed that Ferrer is a fellow citizen of mine and my father used to be his hairdresser when he was a kid. Never thought someome could go so far as he did coming from here!!
ОтветитьThe high is very important to serve and to get points... The problem of ferrer is that he has a short high
Ответитьextremely under rated-player, beats everyone but big 4 at his prime
ОтветитьDavid always seemed to me to be the nearly player, super quick around the court nice ball striker but mentally weak when it came to big points in big matches, he needed a psychological coach that was very mentally strong at that stage of his career, why couldn't he find the right guy?
Ответить2 years after who is here
ОтветитьAmazing footwork.
ОтветитьWith a more powerful forehand and the mentality to risk a bit more and put more balls on the lines, and not just putting them in play, I think he would have won more big titles. Nevertheless, he is a legend to me. What I call an unique kind of player. Such a warrior, never giving up any point and never stopping running. + a great person.
ОтветитьI call Ferrer the spanish Lleyton Hewitt!
ОтветитьThe spanish Lleyton Hewitt!
ОтветитьGotta appreciate a guy that’s almost always outgunned but goes down swinging
ОтветитьFerrer è stato sempre un grande guerriero in campo , oltre ad avere un bel gioco
ОтветитьIs it true that he smoked quiet a lot?
ОтветитьHe deserved a few grand slams forsure
ОтветитьOne of the most entertaining tennis players ever....
ОтветитьI love watching his games. It has always been fun.
ОтветитьThe Rat
ОтветитьI hope he can give all of this great fighting spirit over to Zverev. What a man.
ОтветитьJust watching his timing with the ball is incredible
ОтветитьFalta un video del mejor devolvedor de pelotas del atp Nicolás Massu, doble medallita de oro en Atenas y ex número 8 del mundo... Ademas de que corría más que nadie...
Ответитьwhat do they mean by roadrunner? Because he can run fast and get to many balls?
ОтветитьNadal vs Ferrer...what 2 fighter we had in Spain.
ОтветитьFerrer is the spanish version of Lleyton Hewitt in my view!
ОтветитьGENIUS POINT
ОтветитьQue gran jugador david ferrer ,sencillamente admirable!😁
ОтветитьWhat a legend
ОтветитьMy 2 favorite players Nadal& ferrer
ОтветитьUn tenista ejemplar
Ответитьフェレールあるある だいたい負けてるw
ОтветитьWish Arsenal had a defence like Ferrer's.
