Thanks for doing this research and making this video. The thought you put into writing and discovering all this information shows, and I'm incredibly proud of the work you've done and continue to do. I'm super familiar with all these arguments and issues going into the world of journalism myself, but it just makes me want to get there even faster - to try and do this kind of ethical research and reporting. It's not easy to put aside your personal perspective and see what you find, but you did, and I thank you on behalf of those of us who aspire to do that too. :D

Video games don’t cause violence



But lag and bad teammates do

It’s called a moral panic it happens when ever something new comes out that the new generation loves but the old generation doesn’t understand

To be fair, EVEN IF 100% (or let's say 99%) of shooters were into video games that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Could be that shooters are more interested in games on average, rather then them being made violent BECAUSE of the video game.

In 2011 we were driving past that Norwegian shooter I was 3 so I don’t remember it but my parents remember seeing kids swimming or in boats in order to get to land and off the island where the man was shooting

i wish Matpat comes back as a main host but sometimes you had to let it pass on. Am happy to have that childhood of watching Game theory. I'm happy my english class make an exercice based on that video.

It’s really funny how my little sister has much more violent thoughts than me. She plays random Roblox games and the Sims 4. I play games like Battlefield, Halo, and Doom.

So in other words... humans found other outlets for their more.. violent tendencies. Sweet!
