it's going to be tough over the next few years. according to the minimum requirements, you can only play 60 fps with an rtx 2080 super (3060ti /4060ti) in low settings. So you need a fairly expensive gaming PC to be able to play future games at all. After a long time of saving, I put together a relatively good pc. in 4k without dlss there is endless stuttering, at around 50fps. the vram utilization is over 12gb, which makes larten like the 4070ti almost obsolete. so you throw dlss together with fg. now you're under 12gb, but still doesn't run well. so dlss3 on, now the fps are good but now you have ghosting. I don't know, pc gaming used to be more inclusive and much cheaper. games were built to run on a very large number of devices.
Ответитьyou should max out your GPU power limit in adrenalin so the card can pull 120 watts instead of 100. it makes a difference
ОтветитьIf a 4090 can only run it at 41 FPS on 4K, i know the problem ain't the GPU
Ответитьhow about high setting with fsr balance or performance?
Ответить@GamerBoy PLAYS driver version are you using?
ОтветитьStarfield, Cyberpunk expansion, Alan Wake 2 - looking forward to all these games and one of the reasons is that none of them use Unreal Engine. Sure it is just an opinion but man UE5 titles all have been generic garbage to this point.
ОтветитьI wonder what setting is responsible for Raytracing. Since UE thinks its better than others the call it Lumen.
The RX6600 shouldnt be able to produce anything over 1080 10fps with Raytracing effects. So maybe they internaly reduce or disable Lumen Effects for slower GPU , so you cant control it with the settings.
What do you think about the implementation of fsr or dlss?
ОтветитьF
ОтветитьThe ultra textures are just too much for the 8gb Vram
ОтветитьI rather play locked 30fps 1440p high fsr quality because its better than TAA native
ОтветитьI like to see the threads being "evenly" used. Also it runs quite allrite even on an underpower gpu like this.
Honestly after seeing UE 4 games with much larger budget releasing in such pathetic state this year, I'm pleasantly surprised by this.
Think I'll be avoiding Ue5 games now. Remnant 2 and now this, the performance is crap! Devs need to start learning to optimize for NATIVE resolution not this upscaled shit.
ОтветитьYou can see the GPU usage drop during the stutters. CPU is having issues keeping up with the GPU. Patches will possibly help but the graphics menu does go over the fact that you will run into performance issues if you exceed the points ratings of your CPU and GPU.
ОтветитьBut does the 60 fps hold on during intensive scenes on High + FSR?
ОтветитьOptimisation is exactly like Remnant 2 😅...
These devs are really pushing upscaler at this point ..
