BlasterPro's newest helmet project is nearing completion! In this episode, the helmet is base coated with a silver metallic paint, then wear and battle damage masking is added through liquid latex. The ears of the helmet are masked with tape and are supposed to stay metallic. After this a tan/bronze paint coat is applied with an extra layer of latex masking. After it has dried, a layer of olive drab green is applied with extra liquid latex. The helmet's cheek's are painted a darker black with paper and tape masking protecting the rest of the paintjob. Then kill mark patterns are made from tape and more masking is added for a final layer of red paint for the kill marks and the rear of the helmet. The paint dries and all the masking is removed revealing a very layered and battered chipped paint job. The final touches is a wash of acrylic paints for soot, grime, and dirt then dabbed dry with a cloth towel.
