How to Livestream with the #Presonus StudioLive

I follow all instructions but on my OBS still got mono signal…. How can I fix that

THANK YOU! I have been having audio issues while streaming and your video has been very helpful. I am hoping to purchase a Presonus StudioLive 32SC in 2024.

Sorry if this has been commented somewhere before, but I'm having issues. Running a 32SX into either OBS or vMix. I am using FlexMix channels 3 and 4, set to Matrix mixes and routed to USB 1&2 respectively. Everything else is set as is seen here. Where I come off the rails is setting up the input into the streaming software. Go to sources, add input capture, and the drop down menu only gives me the option of "StudioLive WDM 1/2 (StudioLive 32SX), or 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, or I can choose a "StudioLive Series III ASIO", among a host of other potential inputs. I'm not getting the simple "StudioLive Insert model here" as is shown in the video. The computer is only recognizing those individual channels, and not a mix down. If I try to turn "Interface Mode" on, it disables FlexMixes. If I try to turn "USB Compatibility" mode on, nothing changes in the streaming software. Firmware is updated on the board. I tried turning off Exclusivity mode in the sound settings. I'm sure I'm just overlooking something, but I sure can't find what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

but how do I do a tutorial or livestreaming myself working in studio one and get the audio from my mixer and my studio one to go into OBS without echoing, doubling etc? I need somehow to talk into my mic, to edit my audio in studio one and to even record vocals all while livestreaming all audio into obs and I am using a SL 32 series 3. There is no documentation on this that works. Loopback mode is no longer on universal controls main menu as an option anymore

Hello am using PreSonus studio live 32s and connected it to my iMac 27 inch of 2017 but i get usb connection Errors, it looses connections every 5 to 10 minutes. please tell me whats with my studio live mixer or its the computer not matching up with the mixer?

Hi Joe, I'm hoping you can help me. I'm using 2 audio interfaces to stream my Studio One sessions to Facebook via OBS. The connections work great. However, I remember watching another video you posted about Mp3 and how to correct the bit rate. In a similar way , I love the sound of the Daw. However, when I playback the Facebook stream, it sounds like a bad MP3 recording. Please advise... I hope I'm making sense lol

Just sending a main fog mix through a matrix to the stream still isn't creating a separate mix though.

I am using SL64S connected to a MacBook for UC surface and reaper for broadcast mix. The problem is that I get random recurring drop outs on FOH and clll mixes. What could going on here? Please help.

But when look in OBS the meter it’s show like I have a mono signal
It’s that normal?
I already check my digital routing it’s correct so the meter that show in mixer and OBS should be same but it’s not

hi joe ,, i tried your usb send 1 and 2 for stereo output .. for mix 3 n 4 ,, and my ch 1 and 2 is use for kick and snare.. or i will not use it for usb send

the problem I am having is when I go to Audio Routing, my only option are Network Sends/Retuns and SD Card/USB/AES where am I going wrong?

Joe, instead of creating a matrix mix on my PreSonus StudioLive 32S, I want to go into studio one via USB, so I can create a killer broadcast mix that I can put my plugins, ect... on the live mix. Then I want to send it out of studio one into OBS? Please Help? (Enjoy your videos!)

I never get an StudioLive again... i really loved it but... de power died, people think about the repair costs and add those to your budget and buy a decent brand. Service is bad, i needed to sent it in insured which costs me already €50,- and then €450,- to let it reparied (at least) for a 10 time used device of just 2 years old (so just out of warranty) no never again. Still have mine but it is not working, i am thinking that €500,- won't be worth it. I wish i never bought it, and just paid €500 more for a Soundcraft or Qu Series of Allen & Heath...

Joe - thanks very much for this and going overboard into OBS. Most helpful. Will give this a try in Studio Series III 32SX. For anyone curious as to how the Limiter is added to the M1, simply tap the Select Button above Master Fader. Then tap the Limiter section on the LCD. LCD now shows the Limiter option.

Hi Joe, I am curious if you have ever looked at what is possible with this way of streaming along with studio one pro to get a live feed into say Jamulus a live jamming stream. I have just reset my SL16 Series 3, ( I play drums with 10 mics on drums and 1 headset mic) I have a 32S series 3 which will eventually do the duty. Can I get near zero latency like this along with plugins in Studio One Pro, across the created MIX BUS or should I used external effects on interface mode, or the limited built in effects?. Thanks.

Hello, I am in the process of gathering information on different mixing consoles on the market and so far the one I like is the StudioLive 32SC. I have several questions regarding the functional capabilities and was unsure where to ask so here I am.
I need a mixer for livestreaming setup on Twitch. Down below I will list the requirements that I have and would like to know if the mixer is capable of doing what I am trying to achieve.

1. XLR In for microphone. That one is obvious, next.
2. I use a Sennheiser GSX 1200 as an output device for the games I play only for it's virtual surround sound capabilities. The device has a 3.5mm Stereo out. My questions here is, will I be able to have the two line ins on the mixer on a single fader, or will I be forced to use two faders for the left and right channels?
3. I would like to have my browser output sound on a separate channel on the mixer through USB. Will I be able to assign Chrome to a USB input on the mixer through the Windows settings or perhaps a program such as VirtualCable? From the information that I gathered it is possible, but my main concern is, will the sound from the browser be stereo or just MONO?? I would like to have my VOIP program where I talk to other people on separate USB channel as well, and I want to output Spotify app on it's own channel. Will they only be in MONO or are the USB channels stereo? If they are, is there a way to combine two USB channels into one stereo to have the app in question on a single fader on the mixer. If it is not possible, could anybody recommend a console that is capable of doing those things. It would be very unfortunate if I have to buy a different physical device and cables for every output I desire. I plan on having Mic, Game, Browser 1, Browser 2, VOIP and Music app on separate channels of their own for easy adjustments while live.

Hi, I been watching you and you have made my music way better, I got a question, if you creat an output channel on the presonus mixer and mix just only on the board how do you export the final mix as a stereo

Im using studiolive 32s but cannot connect with daw mode...but my ipad can control daw using the same router,the only ip address is not the same with my wifi mac..please help

Hey! Thanks for this, but I have a question (maybe i missed it). I have a series 3 Studio Live 32sc. I was wondering, if i wanted to livestream a recording/mixing session, what do I have to do to get my ableton session communicating with obs? I have seen a bunch of videos saying you have to download all these extra plug-ins, but I dont think those people had digital mixers. Send help!
