We all feel guilty
ОтветитьI found out it gets worse; if she didn't kill Sif when she did, Sif would've felt over after the 2nd attack. I wonder how many people know that.
ОтветитьTaking out Sif is when you wonder if you're really the "good guy" int his game.
ОтветитьHonestly I just wish she'd happened to do the DLC earlier, purely so I could see the emotional damage bonus from the modified cutscene lmao
ОтветитьThere is a diffrent cutscene if you beat Artorias before this fight and it will bring you even more pain.
Ответитьthat opening scene gets sadder if you do the dlc and save sif first. he recognises you from the past and it's even more heartbreaking.
ОтветитьThe detail of the limping just broke my heart
ОтветитьI hope she gets to meet baby sif in dlc
ОтветитьNow imagine if she did DLC first
ОтветитьGaming sword?
ОтветитьBefore fighting Sif, I always bow and do my best to give an honorable battle. At the end, I hope Sif is able to rest in peace, and perhaps meet with Artorias in a better place. At least that's my head cannon
ОтветитьIf it makes her feel better she robbed her own future grave. Artorias is the player characters future.
Ответитьwelp. I wish she fought Sif after clearing DLC for special intro cutscene
ОтветитьFromsoft be like "congrats on beating a boss, now feel bad"
ОтветитьIt hits even harder when you do the DLC first and Sif recognises you but still has to fight, this fight legit makes me want to cry whenever I do it.
Ответить;~; Daijoubn't
ОтветитьYes it is still sad to see Great Wolf Sif when you know what the doggo was guarding and why they stood guard for so long. I mean all they where doing was protecting you and everyone else from Abyss , so that no one else will end up like their friend.
ОтветитьWas there any boss fights that stand out like this in Elden Ring? I cant remember off the top of my head and there is a ton of them to look through.
ОтветитьShe killed the fifth best doggo (´;︵;`)
ОтветитьIf you beat Sif fast enough, you don't have to see the sad limp. Kanata was like one swing away from even knowing that it did that.
ОтветитьOn the topic of pronouncing Ookami, can a person not born in Japan ever hope to learn those sorts of things?
ОтветитьIf she did the dlc before this, the cutscene is sad
Ответитьthe BGM is way too used in memes I flinched a little lol
Ответить100% "are we the baddies" moment for PPT
ОтветитьIn this boss fight we are the evil one. We came marching into its domain like we own the place, killed Sif and then desecrated his Master's grave. Sif was just guarding his Master's grave. He was the goodest boi.. 😭😭
ОтветитьI love the secret cutscene you get if you defeat Manus before fighting Sif, Sif smells you and recognizes you. Then is even more sad to fight you.
ОтветитьIt was his dog, man...
...his fucking dog...
...why, man?
This is some Dark Souls trauma you can’t avoid.
ОтветитьSif was such a sweet baby girl... trying to protect her master's empty grave
ОтветитьNow I feel kinda bad slaughtering sif because I got a black Knight greatsword too early I never saw it's limping animation because I killed it in like 5-6 hit if I remember correctly
ОтветитьLaugh now but when you get to the DLC, that tone will change.
Ответитьthat battle really does stand out to me for a couple of reasons, one because i was under leveled and they kicked my ass and two it’s one of the few bosses in games i genuinely felt bad about beating.
ОтветитьKanata's little howl was adorable.
Ответить"There not a bonfire nearby"
Yeah, better get used to that
nothing else
ОтветитьImagine how Kanatan would react if she play DLC first 😢
ОтветитьIt looks pitiful*
Ответитьi was so underleveled when i first fought her, so i was full of adrenaline and didnt see the limping I FUCKING REGRET EVERY HIT I DID
Ответить"I think i just killed someone's beloved dog"
Nope, that s everyone's beloved dog
spoiler:'
well, at least we have sif fighting alongside us in DLC
I'm not ashamed to admit I was ugly sobbing during the alternate cutscene after doing Artorias of the Abyss first on my second playthrough, hell, I still tear up a bit over a decade later.
ОтветитьImagine the emotional damage if she did DLC first
ОтветитьGraverobbing? Well, the whole world is a damn tomb so not much chance of getting away from that.
Ответитьwell at least she didn't do the Atorias DLC beforehand and got the alternative cut scene. would have felt more bad
ОтветитьMakes Sif really cute and fuzzy, makes her look pitiful as you hurt her, makes her lore be that she's actually a noble creature, and makes her a non-optional boss. Miyazaki really is a cruel bastard.
Edit: I checked and there actually is a "Spare Sif" mod at Nexus Mods. The description: "I saw some (old) requests on the nexus forums of people wanting a mod that allowed them to skip Sif fight and still progress in the game, well, i made it, now killing Sif will NOT reward you with the Ring of Artorias, now to get the ring you have to rescue Sif from the abyss in the DLC... that is it"
Of course Kanata already killed her, and anyway I expect Cover would want a separate permission from FromSoftware to use it. Still, if anyone reading this wants to play without killing Sif, there you go.
