Amazing how Sir Peter Jackson went from the Lord of The Rings trilogy to King Kong. Truly showed his passion to the fantastic.

I remember watching this movie in theaters when I was in fifth grade. The giant centipede was enough. Skull Island is a land of fears come true.

In my opinion the best scene in this movie. There are so many really great scenes in this movie but for turning a action adventure film so far into a horror movie for a short few mins they did so well, the creatures react and move so well, it so scary how they seemingly fell into a empty pit/cave then they start to hear the putter patter of tiny not so tiny feet and appendages hitting the ground jumping from wall to wall, all working against each other but working together to get there meal, they move robotically, like they are programmed for these situations, god how horrifying

An incredible movie.

I had forgotten how powerful the ending was and by the time I glanced over at my gf (who had never saw the movie) was eyes wide crying watching.

I had my lump in my throat but to share it with her was special.

Weird that the bugs aren't attacking each other when there are so many there.

So many years later, and those worm thing still seem like the worst death in this movie

Peter Jackson flexed his horror movie credentials in this scene. The worms still creep me out.

Imagine if they used practical effects instead of CGI. Every thing looks fake. There is no weight behind the objects, you can tell the characters are just grabbing at the air. The kid loaded a Tommy Gun and opened fire of his friend... it's such a stupid scene.
