It will take another 10 millions years for Himalayas to get old and compacted. Ever shifting structures of Himalayas makes it really unfit for many developmental activities that Europeans or American enjoys in their ranges. Himalayas are still young as compare for European landmass. This is why dirt is not loose unlike ours. However. commercialization in our mountains should be done only keeping this thing in mind. Too fast, too many tourist is unsustainable in Himalayan mountains.

Hi Tanya, loved that you saw the lights. Just curious, could you pls let me know what dates you saw the northern lights? We did the same itinerary a few days ago, and the sky was not clear for us and so did not see the lights. So just wanted to know if you saw them before we were there or after. Just feeling bad that we could not see them.
