I love WCW but the fact that they swerved the crowd twice with Lex turning on Goldbergs jus Sucks . If Lex and Berg Fought off the Cheaters it wouldn’t have been so bad

Apparently Bischoff wanted to build up the nWo here for Goldberg to have a stable of opponents to fight against. There was no payoff though as Goldberg did not get the Big Gold Belt back until his 2003 run in the WWF. WCW creative had no clue how to book long term storylines with proper conclusions; Sting vs Hogan 1997 Starrcade was another WCW blunder.

Its a shame that the poke is Nash's best bump ever.

Just the pop you hear from the all blows landed by Goldberg you can FEEL the vitriol emanating from the crowd wanting to see these NWO pricks burn. Lost opportunities you let Goldberg clear the stage for this one and end the event that way. But Hogan wouldnt allow something like that on his watch.
