I'm guessing that if my pc won't boot off the usb that means it probably failed. Well I guess as long as it's still running for the most part I'll worry about the crashes later.

Sorry for being really green on the whole computer thing but I am at the step that says "Restart your PC and enter the UEFI BIOS to boot from the usb" How do i enter UEFI BIOS to boot from usb?

Thx for the Video, but one Question. Does is test only the Rams, or the Cpu also. Because i got over 555 errors ( my pc is shutting down every 30-45 min or when the pc has to work like Cities Skylines 2)and at the end there is like: Actual: 606B1A36 CPU1. I have an ASUS ROG and am not sure which boot to use on UEFI BIOS. I have three different USB options (UEFI Partition 1, UEFI Partition 2 and a normal USB disk).

And how about non-EFI devices?
I've got a bunch of oldschool stuff, but don't want to download a full 2.2GB Live USB, any suggestion to use it with grub4dos?

Great little program to check if the memory is faulty the only downside is it takes 3 hours to check the memory other than that awesome program.

When I am running the test, there comes a time when my pc reboots itself (around 58%) and I can't see the end of the test. What could be causing this reboot?

Maybe you can help me out. I just upgrade my cpu from a ryzen 9 3900x to a ryzen 9 5900x and for some reason when I get into main menu in games or start to game my pc would shutdown on it's own, but the only thing is that my rpg lights on my mobo and ram stick would still be on.

The RPG on the ram stick is not moving just frozen and not even that I have to shutdown my pc through my psu by turning it off because pressing my power button to turn it off doesn't work. I can turn my psu back on and my pc will work again, but it seem like this only happens when gaming.

Anything not game relate I can use my pc just fine. I thought too it was my new cpu so I switched back and it happened again my 3900x so idk what could be the problem. I am getting tried of pc problem and stress out because I don't want to spend money to fix it all the time.

I am not rich and I can't always replace parts. It took me a while before i was able to build this pc. My spec are 3900x as of writing this and I can reinstall my 5900x back paired with rtx 3080ti 32gb of ram with 3200mhz from corsair and a gold 80 plus 850 watts psu. I do have my cpu being cooled off by my aio corsair 2 fan.

What I've done to try to fix it. I have updated my bios, updated my gpu drive and reseated my ram stick which it did help for like 1-3 weeks before it started to shutdown again on me today. Edit forgot to add that my cpu temp while gaming is like 55 to 64 C and gpu sometime gets to 86C, but no higher than that for now.

Edit: when I reseated the ram once it fix the problem temporarily until it happen again after 1-2 weeks. So this time I removed one ram stick and just left one instead of the 32gb of ram I used before I know have 16gb signal channel. So far it seem to working, but I believe it could just be a temp fix.

Do you think it is a psu issue or a ram problem? P.S. my 3900x and 5900x is paired with a 3080 ti and 850 watts gold from Thermaltake.

never worked here, tried 4 usb from 1gb to 4gb, the usb shows in the boot menu, but when i select i only get a black screen and the usb keeps flashing forever...i guess this is the type of "bug" only fixes if you pay....

I ran the .exe and let it do its thing to my drive (H:). I've confirmed it has the "EFI" folder from December 2022, so I assume I'm good to go.

However, it also kept bugging me to create a new drive (I:). I formatted it and it's empty, but using 16 KB (of 507 MB on a 16 GB flash drive).

So, uh... what do I boot from? H: with the EFI folder? Or this new I: drive?
