Delhi: Yamuna water level rises beyond danger mark, crosses 207 meter; evacuation begins

Delhi: The Yamuna river crosses the 'danger' mark as the water level rises after heavy downpours. The national capital is now on a flood alert. The Yamuna in Delhi has exceeded the evacuation mark of 207 metres, prompting the relocation of people residing in flood-prone areas to safer locations, officials said.
