This song reminds me of summer 2017 when we had a BBQ party with all these different people from all over the world and me and the man I loved so deeply. It was a sunny day and the world felt safe and beautiful. I miss this energy.

My beautiful friend, Ava showed me this song in 2018- we listened to this EP on repeat while in rehab together and both learned this on guitar to jam together, it was only a short 2 week stay and then we both moved on in life for two years.. In late 2019 our paths crossed again, I was homeless and Ava was working for a non-profit that offered crisis accommodation too, we met again when I moved in to one of the hostels and she helped me gain a position alongside her there mentoring LGBT youth.. She took her life in early 2020 and this song means volumes to me
I've just booked in to get a tattoo done based on this song, a piece of Ava's story on my arm forever
