Not really relevant today, but my 88 Fiero Formula had the engine in the rear and traction was great for a rear wheel car compared with the my buddy's 5.0 Mustang. The weight helps in the rear wheel Drive Model 3 as well.

I find it astounding that a 2022 Model 3 will not ever get the new UI update, and has still not gotten the high fidelity park assist, or has still not gotten the FSD trial (2024.8.9). My 4 year old cell phone gets better updates than this $50,000 "computer on wheels."

Tesla's biggest assets are not the car's, it's the people behind them. These two gents prove it.

Cringe to watch. They both have good intentions but don’t harmonize, they eat into each other’s space. Give each one their own space, let the designer and engineer talk separately as long as they want. Don’t force them to share the same limited space.

1.) Would there be any benefit to an old fashioned key lock for the door? I witnessed a child locked in a Tesla, in 1 hour the fire department was able to restore functionality to the car.
2.) I do not yet own a Tesla, I am concerned about the lever door handle in icy winters. My I.C.E. car had been completely snowed in, and covered in ice, and a traditional door handle worked well under those conditions.
3.) I test drove a Model 3, 5 years ago and thought it was incredible.

Not worth to upgrade older M3 to new!! Everything is on push button streering wheel, slow to usu. It is just inconvience to handl3.

Don’t buy the $99 FSD. I did and Tesla gave me last year’s version. 11.4.9 I should have been told that before I purchased. I have a 2023 model S Plaid. So it’s capable.

Hey Tesla - hope you're reading the comments - I'd like to share changes to the next Model S that I'm expecting / hoping for
- steer by wire
- four-wheel steering
- rear seat foot wells to increase leg room - similar to the Porsche Taycan
- increase chassis torsional rigidity
- soft close frunk
- rear seat fold down release levers in the rear - similar to the model Y
- no driver instrument cluster - only a center screen like the Cybertruck
- center screen doesn't need to swivel - cost savings
- ambiant lighting similar or better than the Model 3
- removable side mirrors
- rear taillights integrated into the rear similar to the Model 3
- change from a hatchback to a trunk configuration like the Model 3 for better cabin sound insulation
- refresh the front end design, headlights etc.
- blind spot monitoring
- rear cross-traffic alert
- no door handles - like the Cybertruck

Hey! Kudos for the new version. I still miss a head up display and a roof that opens. I want to trade my Model 3 Performance and I'm waiting for the Ludricous...I hope that the aero kit and bucket seats are confirmed. I hope the brakes got better and it would be very cool to get an adaptative sport suspension. 🖖🇵🇹

about superchargers, in the netherlands a couple years back it showed a planned supercharger in bergen op zoom, it never came, even that one would be a 20 minute drive for me, now they are planning one 35 minutes away from me, i think there should be one allot closer, especially since the government / energy companies dont yet take EVs seriously enough to provide enough charging options in your own direct neighborhoods. - for people without a garage / driveway, which are plenty of people here.

All those little things like stalks and sensors that work in any situation? Sure there are great improvements, but to remove things that work better before having a real alternative is just to much cost cutting. Parking is harder without ultrasound sensors and driving in roundabouts is also harder without stalks. Tesla vision with an added low front camera "might" get us there in 5-10 years. I do appreciate the Acoustic improvements, as I work with that professionally. Also drive comfort has been improved.
