ОтветитьAs someone that has had 3 open heart surgeries when I was pretty young (teen years) any advances in relation to surgery or even generally in medicine is exciting. Gives me hope with my ongoing issues things will be easier and have better results in the future.
ОтветитьAXELROD!
ОтветитьBring seeker daily back please
ОтветитьYep, was born with an Atrial-Septal Defect. I am also a game programmer. This is cool stuff!!!
ОтветитьVR training is looking better every day. Being able to use AR and overlay active scanning during surgery would be impressive as well. Probably difficult to do, but we'll get there eventually.
Ответитьplease bring back seeker daily I want a seeker that explain politics
ОтветитьTeraRecon has something in that direction too.
ОтветитьParents writing to child in med school to be a cardiologist: So, how was this week at med school?
Child to parents: Oh, it was great we played with heart simulation video game, and I'm learning so much.
Parents: We are paying how much for our child to play a video game instead of learning a medical field!?
These parents angry write to the governor, and school which promptly cuts the funding to this research technology putting medical technology behind another decade. Due to parents not understanding the new way their children are learning more than they could ever have dreamed of.
fu seeker for having forced ads that long. fu
Ответитьwhat about plastic/silicon model?
ОтветитьFox News needs to be finished, the biggest source of fake news
ОтветитьNow I'll have an excuse to buy VR headset off course its not for porn naw its for studies
ОтветитьMeanwhile in my country people still argue over religions
ОтветитьA future where every gamer can become a heart surgeon or become a doctor within a year just by playing a very realistic simulation. lel that would be awesome.
ОтветитьIt's so amazing to me that these incredible advances and life saving technologies have come about because of video games. if not for them, VR wouldn't have taken off. I'd like to go back and show this to anyone who ever said video games are ruining society.
ОтветитьWow. An actually good video! This is new.
ОтветитьWhat people disliked this???
ОтветитьI will be there in a few minutes
Ответитьbasically...increase in population
Ответитьdefinitely going to be a game changer
ОтветитьYes!! I am an echocardiographer and this would of been so helpful in school. Congenital pathology is still sometimes hard for me to wrap my head around. This would be helpful in adult pathology as well.
ОтветитьBeyond words.
ОтветитьTwo things. First, Axelrod is a kickass name. Second, This is a great idea for training surgeons. I walked through a giant model heart at the Franklin Institute when I was a kid, and found it fascinating.
Ответитьcan they operate on the virtual heart?
ОтветитьI <3 this video :P
Ответить"THE FIGHT IS ON!"
ОтветитьThis was intensely fascinating. Not the best video to be eating Taco Bell for dinner at the same time, however, but that's on me.
ОтветитьThis is rad, I hope they perfect this technology so that in time we can all use it as readily as we use interactive whiteboards!
