That is probably the biggest insult to the genre you couls possbily make. Before Psytrance there was a more organic form called GoaTrance, which has singing, rael instruments, microtonal indian instruments and real complex rhythm and melody

What you've made is a stripped back meainstream super simplisitc "psy". It's really an insult to the genre. Adding some chopped tibal vocals from a sample pack to a triplet bassline is such an absurd cliche.

DJ/Producers that don't understand the history of it and just copy and paste the basic elements that technically make it 'Psytrance' but wth no innovation or musical skills just saturate the scene with more and more average quantity over quality,

I've been producing music for over 20 years, much of it being psytrance.T

Once that kick and bass combo are locked in and barely change for the track,then all the real innovation and great ideas have to come from the editing, effects, melody, sotrytelling and using and understanding musical modes of scales to give things a vibe outside the usual Minor/Major.

Psytrance is INCREDIBLE. Difficult to produce when its cutting edge - this stuff I'm seeing here is insulting to the producers that spend months on one track because its so detailed.
