so... who owns that generated image? you? adobe? do you lose the rights to it if you dont pay your subscription? i wouldn't know, i just accept the ULA 🤷‍♂️

Hi Terry, I've been using Ps since 2012. Some of the new features seem as exciting-sounding as Content Aware Fill was (in CS5?). But - I'm a Windows 11 PC user & many Win folks I know have had major mishaps ("issues") with Ps rel. 24.5 - losing presets/plugins/use of actions, etc., etc. I also see similar complaints on the Adobe Community Forum. Do you know if a more stable version of 24.5 (24.5.1?) is planned to drop soon? I'm not updating until the issues sound fixed. And, I'd love to use some of the new commercial tools you've highlighted (Remove Tool, Live Gradient, Presets, et. al.) ... Thx!

Gradient tool. Wow. It only took 20 years to catch up with dinosaur Corel Draw. I remember that the core draw had an option to make the gradient go around the color wheel instead of linearly through it.

How about Lens flare, cloud, or anything in the render menu tool. I think they leave it untouched for the whole nostalgia factor. Look just like the 90's. (why are we still using preview boxes?

remove tool not working shows the tool but no brush how do i fix i have uninstaild and upgraded to win 11 on lap top it works setting all the same

Generative fill is cool except that it is low resolution and pretty much useless on a high resolution photo. Photoshop needs to match the Generative fill resolution and the original Photo.

After testing the Gen Fill out (intensively) we're very impressed! It's quasi intuitive however it has major stumbling blocks in certain areas but hey, it's Beta. Can't even come close to MJ with prompting but then again MJ can't Gen fill!

How do you go from LrC to PS beta? Also does the image go back to LrC after you quit the PS beta version? If you fill in the sides of an image does that change the aspect ratio of the image?

Can someone tell me how to load or find the new presets..I am on the adjustment tabs and I just see the default presets..thanks in advance.

Every time I use the new brush, it crashes my Photoshop

So you use Upright in Camera Raw to straighten your picture. It's too much for the frame and you get two triangular areas with the background layer and no image. I guess, you could use generative fill to extend the image. Am I right?

I am looking forward to the Generative Fill giving you higher res results, I tried to use this for a job and the extended areas produced a very soft result. I think the GF tool is limited to 1024 pixels... at the moment.

too bad that live gradients don't work on live shapes or custom shapes made with paths like in illustrator, just on full surfaces or masks :/

I really don’t like the generative fill. With this included everyone can Photoshop anything in the future and it will kill the skill.

Do we really need Photoshop in the future when Ai does everything, I think a few things will change here
