I did everything shown here and I still don't have any sound coming in Studio One... I do have sound in my Mac as I can record through OBS, a LIVE video software. Is there a "switch" I have to turn ON? Makes no sense to me I get sound in OBS and not Studio one...

Good video! Does the amplitude of the track signal matter? I sometimes get a very tiny amplitude on my track.

When I press record, my mic doesn’t pick my voice up. As if it’s not even connected but I have my audio box connected so I’m confused and frustrated. Someone plz help

Bro the steps were on point but if this is to teach someone how to record audio then they're probably pretty an experience in green and you kind of were going all over the place instead of just showing how to record you could come back and make videos at a later time with all the other details you kept saying you weren't going to get into

When I turn the gain nob to where the green light appears I end up hearing a buzz/static in the background. Is that normal? If I turn the gain nob down I cannot hear myself that well

I have a MX1, which works in ableton, however in S1V3 i can click record and monitoring but i can't hear anything.
Routing is fine, there is just no signal coming through.

I press R on the keyboard to record my vocals and immediately the computer makes a loud screeching noise.? the noise sounds like when u have the microphone close to a speaker it usually makes a certain type of loud noise idk.. im just trying to record man:( can anyone help a sista out!?

For some reason when I click add audio track (mono) it won’t arm and let me record Audio with my mic but when i add an instrument track it’s armed right away....

i Have both my studio monitors plugged into my interface also my mic, i can record when i go to the voice recorder app but in studio one 3, when i record nothing shows up

hi, i amd having issues regarding recording audio. i use presonus sudio i2. when i add audio track and tap record it wont record. it dont select the record button. and also it dont save the file as well.

i have a standard usb cable that i bought from amazon, (will leave a site below so u can see what it is), and a Behringer Ultravoice Xm8500 Dynamic Vocal Microphone, ( will leave another site below), i plug it in and everything and set it up, and when i press to record and hear my voice, all i get is a high pitched noise. It wont let me record or anything. Any help? Thanks!
