How Good Was Chapter 3 ACTUALLY?

On these videos I usually get a lot of comments about how good the skins / battlepasses are, but since this is a competitive channel mainly I haven't mentioned that. Let me know what you though of them!

First 2 seasons were really good(I would even argue season 1 is a top 5 season overall) but seasons 3 and 4 were not that good

This chapter had a pretty good map and the first 2 seasons were awesome but this chapter was so short unfortunately.

I can confidently say that after fracture that chapter 3 was the absolute worst thing in the world

Chapter 3 in my opinion was one of the best experiences I have played ever since chapter 1 I left Fortnite on chapter 2 season 2 since I got bored but ever since I came back I’ve been so satisfied with everything they brought and cooked for that chapter too bad I lost my skills by going to warzone 2 not worth it

I really miss chapter 3 it ended too soon

I kinda wish chapter 3 didn't end so early. It felt so forced to change the map already. They also confirmed that they changed the map to show off unreal engine 5. So it kinda sucks that they changed such a good map for no reason other than showing off graphics.

In my opinion , Chapter 3 was fun and good
1.Chapter 3 season 1 brought the web shooters mythics , new map amd sliding
2.Chapter 3 season 2 - The live event was Goated and the storyline in this season was deep so I loved that
3.Chapter 3 season 3 - the reality biome , W summer event and it was a fun and relax season
4.chapter 3 season 4 - Good poi's and w weapons - I loved the evochrome weapon and the chrome poi's and the collabs
Overalk chapter 3 was a good chapter and a fun chapter

I didnt like season 2-4, the changes felt too drastic in my opinion. Mantling and running is really weird and i still dont like it, as well as the game just feeling so unfair with the smg meta

Although the competitive meta definitely wasn't that great in Chapter 3, Chapter 3 Season 1 will probably always be my favorite season. It was carried by the Spidey collab tho tbh. The web shooters is where a lot of the fun came from lol.

Interesting take, I LOVED chapter 3 season 3, quests were great, cool battlepass, best music ever, awesome map, i look back upon it extremely fondly and i get mad nostalgic when i hear the music now

I wasn’t keen on it, was the only time I ever skipped seasons completely. Don’t have battle pass for season 2,3 and 4. Would say this was the low point for fortnite. And would also go as far as to say the game is probably in the best state it’s been since around season c1s6 currently

I really loved season 1 and 2 which made me come back to the game but then the summer came and I was with friends and stuff, then just got bored of the game. I rly miss the map tho it was really amazing and I think I kinda missed out on the later seasons, sad that it ended so soon but I think that the new chapter can get better.

Chapter 3 was pretty good in my opinion cause it had good seasons, good updates and good weapons so it was good (in my opinion)

I think its a bit weird to call zero build the casual mode. Sure its simpler but absolutely can be played at a competitive level. For me its the only reason i got interested in fortnite. I just never liked the building aspect of the game and prefer more grounded BRs. They’re almost two different games imo

Watch in like 2 years we’ll learn the real reason why chapter 3 ended so early, still doesn’t really feel right. I could see it ending at Season 6 but 4??? Makes me feel like we didn’t have a real connection to it.

Chapter 3 introduced some good shit into the game. Solid stuff gameplay-wise.
Battle Passes were hit and miss, but there were plenty of great skins. I'd say it's mixed, BP-wise.
It's fine.

Fortnite has issues such as lag spikes and guns that don't shoot. I don't think it's expelling or exuberating to get de-ranked for inconveniences I can't control. Certain things I can control like stagey. Dying to thing I can't control such as getting shot 3 seconds later by a shot gun through my builds while I'm completely boxed up isn't fun.

It would be even worse if I were to de rank because of it.

So we don't want that back and I'm not sure why you pushing such a stupid idea

You bet your ass it was mid! I genuinely think Epic used chapter three to keep us occupied while they worked on chapter 4. That's the only way I can get myself to understand how lackluster those last seasons were! Goddamn! Otherwise, why wouldn't they have made it longer?
Edit: other thing that may point to this being the case is the sheer complexity and graphical quality of the new map compared to the last one. Seriously, this is the first time I have felt that a Fortnite map was something more than "fine enough" graphically. Honestly, Epic has hit it out of the park with this one!

I wasn’t really bothered about Chapter 3, but I guess I was just salty about not being able to play the Chapter 2 map, although Zero Build was bloody awesome

Worst Chapter Ever. You give me 10 Good Memorables of Chapter 3 and I'll take back what I said. Until then the only Three major Memorables was the Spider-Man Webshooters Klombos and Collision Live Event.

Chapter 3 was the most boring chapter imo, it was the chapter that felt the least like the simple Fortnite that made Epic a billion dollar company. Chapter 4 is the redemption of this game

Chapter 3 was overall just a pretty good chapter. Perfectly balanced changing the map around with keeping it similar enough that it doesn’t feel annoying. Was just a really nice balanced chapter

I didn’t really like the story of this chapter at all. The war seasons story was pretty good and s1 built up to it but afterward s3 was a season with hardly any story but a little buildup at the end and s4 could’ve made a perfect end to the chapter and the invasion could’ve been big but in the end the island died in 20 seconds and we all played a fetch quest while the zero point brought in some islands with no hints toward the next chapter admittedly
