My question is how can the many ethical concepts deeply contradict each other if logic is used?
ОтветитьMore of this please! The people need it spelled out to support better thinking. Thank you.
ОтветитьAsking such questions is a bloody waste of time. The answers will depend on whom you ask. I can’t be bothered; I’m just going with the flow until the AI will explain what’s what. After all, it’s been created by brainy ones who, obviously, know what’s good.
ОтветитьClear explanation, concise and good examples. Thank you, help me a lot when I teach.
ОтветитьBeautifully explained. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьIt’s not clear and specific but it’s a good video thank u
ОтветитьThis is a good watch for those into learning counselling psychology as well. 👍🏼
Ответить😮😊
ОтветитьThis presentation, and another I watched from the Ethics Center, were so good that I signed up for the 10-part course.
ОтветитьAbhi to mujhe maa bahan ka gali de rahe the, mujh pe thuk rahe the ,mujhe society me achhut bana rahe the , aab morality ka lecture de rahe ho.
Ответитьvery useful for my report on ethical leadership on deepening explanation of ethics
ОтветитьI think all religion does not encourage its followers to question it. Naming individual religions is immoral, in my opinion. It's likely ethical and legal though.
ОтветитьEthics & morals are missing in todays society.
ОтветитьIn practice in philosophy "ethics" and "morality", and "ethical" and "moral", are taken as synonyms.
The only people I've ever seen treat these terms as meaning different things have been non-philosophers.
For instance "moral philosophy" is often used as a synonym for "ethics" as a branch of philosophy.
The names of doctrines with ethics can be called "moral _____", e.g. "moral realism, platonism, subjectivism, scepticism".
The word "ethical" earlier in history meant "to do with ethics" but is now used also to mean the same as "moral" in the sense of "having a positive moral quality". E.g. "ethical behaviour" = good behaviour.
I have to wonder where people who insist on treating ethics and morality as two separate things get the idea from. After all they are simply terms derived from equivalent Ancient Greek and Latin words.
Christianity has more murders than any other crimes or wars together. How many people were killed do to witchcraft, christian crusades and relocation to another country? Native americans etc.
ОтветитьUnfortunately, this viewpoint assumes that there is no inherent, objective and universal Truth to begin with and also that religious morality is followed unconsciously and does not teach that its followers should live in constant self-examination and constantly examine the religious texts to prove them in daily living.
Christianity, for example, requires the same conscious examination of ethics as described here, and the very concept of law and order is an imitation of the way of law and order of the Creator as revealed throughout the ages.
Divine morality then governs law with ethical principles.
Ooh, this is very interesting. I've always been interested in morality and what's right and wrong. Now I know the fine nuances between them all and how we can use them to improve as human beings.
ОтветитьBy that there is the will to be a Public free from War. THE LAW
ОтветитьNo.
Ответитьcool video 😊
ОтветитьClear message, clear structure, easy to understand, thank you
ОтветитьThank you, dude! I found this really useful. You speak very well, the images helped. The structure was good and the examples were super helpful. Finally getting this now!
ОтветитьI think the fundamental difference between morality and ethics is that the first is about not doing harm, and the the second is about doing LESSER harm than necessary. Two very different perspectives.
ОтветитьWhy does the presenter have the definition backwards???? If morals are nothing but standards or customs why do we need another word for what we already had? This makes no sense. If ethics were as you say in this video why are there different codes in different sets of ethics? For instance, legal ethics are distinct from business ethics which differs from military ethics and so on. What are you going to tell me those areas don't have written ethical codes? You have this backwards. FIX IT!!!
ОтветитьWhat is nation? Why law support unethic amoral nationalists kleptocracy?
Humans born without nationality, born without fascism, nationalization in childhood make them.
False value, false enemy, false nation definition make false enemy, destroy value of life.
Why should someone care about ethics? Morality and law have an answer, because of divine or not so divine punishment. Ethics has no such consequences.
ОтветитьHope mountain research and Development field duties

ОтветитьEach one more deconstructible than the other.
ОтветитьCovidImages need to be invested more than half19
ОтветитьWhat might a software engineer should do that is legal, illegal, moral, immoral and unethical?
ОтветитьFor Muslims, God is the one who determines the standards of morality and legislates the law. Why should I obey a law made by another human being who is no better than me at anything? Why should I abide by morals agreed upon by a group of people that change with the change of time and place? God is the one who determines what is right and what is wrong and what is the law that people should follow. God is the only legislator and educator of true Muslims. Our rejection of human law and human legislation is what means that we believe in God and disbelieve in all other gods. These gods may be governments that seek to control humans by creating moral standards appropriate to their interests, and then protect these morals with laws.
Like homosexuality, which was known in all religions and cultures as a crime and an immoral act. Like marijuana, etc. Perhaps tomorrow they will legalize pedophilia and incest.
An ethical man knows it is wrong to cheat on his wife. A moral man just wouldn't.
Simple meaning is to act in thought and the other to react in instinct
This guy does not know the difference between monotheism and philosophy. Religion and Buddhism. Religion cannot be questioned Buddhism can be questioned. Ignorance causes conflict.
ОтветитьThank you for this ved, it so helpful for me to start study about morality and ethics, how to applied our daily lives.
