Both leads are fabulous actors. Woods is a prickly contrarian, while Alexander is also an accomplished public servant.

I'm no fan of James Woods; don't know Jane Alexander. Don't much care for this movie about another of the USA's lost and inhumane wars. I was in the Navy during the war, but based in Georgia, not VN.I was always against the war. It was a crime against humanity. The US slaughtered thousands of Vietnamese and thousands of Americans for no reason except what today's right wing fear. Red scare BS.

Woods and Alexander are two of my favourites.

What an astounding movie. Best movie I’ve seen James Wood in. He’s a great actor. A movie everyone should watch. Even if you don’t remember anything about the VN war.

Its a great movie pulling out how the americans are the good guys meanwhile the vitnamis are the demons. Come up that Gulf of Tonkin attack was a big fat lie it never happened . Its a made up story just to justify the american intention to invade Vietnam. The same as Japan had attacket Pearl Harbour for non reason. USA push them to this point for several reasons. That´s the american method they make up a history, they poke, they provoke, they show up fake american propaganda só thus they make themselvies as the victmies and them they do as they want. They invade the soverign countries. Everything that come up from american politicians mouth are a big fat lies. When it came from americans the victm are allway the victmizers.

I've just passed the part where Mr. Stockton was given a new job...while, he was of course a prisoner of war...this is a film..but l will give a the exact same thing that happened to me while my 16year old child was dieing in front of my eyes..My little Andy had a appointment in Paris with a big deal doctor, that never did anything for him , anyway, he was dieing in a hospital bed in Orleans when his mother got a call chewing her out because Andy missed the appointment and we hadn't let him know...l was so f------ mad..collectively..nobody gives a damn about each other...anyway..thanks for reading this..it feels good to have any excuse to mention a little guy, l promise, you would of liked and respected...
