That Hori controller is not great. It's big and comfortable but that is it. It does not support dock mode, no rumble, no gyro, very light and cheap plastic. Super disappointing!

Returned my Hori controller and kept the Bin Bok controller.

I would like to get the fixture for the oled the battery pack that clamps on the back and a new pro controller (to replace my old pro controller) for the fixture, then I'll be ready to go.

I'm an adult woman, but my hands are child-sized (runs on my Dad's side of the family, lol), so all the Horis and all are just too big for my tiny hands. LMAO. I'm kind of getting used to the regular joycons, though, so oh, well. lol.

I have the tomtoc case and it's by far the best case I have for the switch I have bought a lot of different ones and it's the best out there and they have a bigger one that fits the spilt pro joy cons

Hello to everyone, I just get right in the subject, the hori split pad pro after some months of use destroyed my rails and I can not play in handheld mode anymore not even with the joycons attached. Only tabletop or dock mode is possible for me which sucks, I am thinking getting a switch lite but then I think about the drifting issue. Damn Nintendo, so great games but poor hardware

Great vid and accessorie recommendations but I'm suprised you didn't mention the satisfye grip which is amazing for switch portable gaming comfort and the great case and accessories you can get for it from the same company.

I only use the split pad pro now when playing handheld - similar in feel to a pro controller, so much more comfortable to play with - definitely recommend

I'm handheld only, I have a Split Pad Pro and while I don't have a Pro Controller or a Fixture, I do have a SN30 Pro Plus and a 3D printed clip though, definitely a game changer.

About the Hori Controller. Downside of them is, that they don't have the motion controlls. So for games which uses them this is a bit of a downside.
As Example aiming with the Bow in Breath of the Wild, you can normally do the fine-aim with tilting the controller, but this sadly doesn't work with Hori's controller.
But aside that i can also totally recommend to buy them, i also got mine for 2 years now and i use them if i can.
They are great for Racing games since you have a wider control range.

Does hori split pad pro fix that stupid joycon drift ?cause my joy cons are at this point drifting so bad that I can't even play on my switch because of that

Split pad pro is good and all but there is another option I have and love it's called ECHTPower Joy-Cons. They are like the split pad pro but you don't lose Vibration, motion controls, And most importantly it's not portable mode only so you can have them in your hands any way you could with normal joycons but have the similar feel as the split pad

Sooo I have the split pad pro but 5 months later the right control connects and disconnect constantly interrupting every time I play I thought this would solve the joycon problem of not being able to play in handheld mode but I was so wrong still upset about it anyone else has the same issue?

I don't understand why the fixture s1 hasn't put out the oled version yet. All they have to do is stretch it out a couple of millimeters.

I'm waiting for the Hori to release their Grip before buying the Split Pad Pro. Hopefully they come out with a combo where you get the controllers and Grip all in one package.

Ever since all three sets of my Switch joy Con broke due to drifts ( Yes I brought another two due to drifts...and they both suffered from drifts three months down the road...) I have been searching for alternatives, and I came across Hori Split pad pro, once I got it I just can't go back to my old Joy Cons anymore, they just feel solid and much more comfortable to play in, especially for more intense games like BOTW, MHGU, MH Rise, Dark souls Remaster etc. , I have had it for around three years now and I have not encounter any drift like Nintendo 's old Joy Cons which was my main issue , so personally I highly recommend the Hori Split Joy con Pro as well. The only downside for me personally, is they're a bit more bulkier in comparison to the original Joy Con, but with the comfort and drift free experience, I am more then happy to look past that.

My favorite accessories are third party joycons. I love funlab, singland, and others because they make them in shapes that look nice and are easier to hold. I collect third party joycons now lol

I'd take the binbok joycons over the Hori split pad. I have both and the binbok ones are better and have more features

I have the hori split pad but i cant find a carrying case to hold them. i know theres a hori case specifically for them but ive read theyre too tight on the thumbsticks. any recommendations? i dont mind those big cube looking cases either
