Emerson Lake and Palmer- “In The Beginning- blows away a number of songs you played. Including the basic strumming on the Oasis sing (whoever they are). And the John Mayer song Daughters and other songs. You left if Stairway also. And The Rain Song. I don’t get how songs with just basic strumming made your list.

Ocean by John Butler is the best acoustic song of all time IMO 👌🏻🔥

Have to say all the guitars sounded awesome except the 12 string which in my opinion sounded horrendous 😮

Almost thought you wasn’t gonna put our Noel Gallagher in there. The best songwriter of his generation. I don’t know any songwriter who wish they wrote wonderwall.

All great songs, and beautifully payed, but EVERY SINGLE ONE is from either North America or the UK. That's an incredibly narrow band...

Well there will always be disagreement on any top 10, top 20 or top 100 picks. Part of the problem is what do you mean by "Top". For me as an amateur guitarist, it would be songs by people who have influenced other guitarists. You have only included a couple of these artists. The most glaring omissions I would say are Bert Jansch, John Martyn and Michael Hedges and possibly Donovan who taught the Beatles how to finger pick.. If you mean by "top" songs which have also been widely known and popular a really glaring omission is Joni Michael. If you go even further back, one would have to include Robert Johnson, certainly Skip James, and maybe Memphis Minnie and Gary Davis. But I thought you did a great job of demonstrating the songs.

It's not a smash hit but once you try to play it you'll realise what a masterpiece Bron Y Aur is by Led Zep. Mainly because you have to retune your guitar and start all over again, which is actually quite good fun. 😊

We all have our own idea of the "Top20 Acoustic Songs of All Time". I would have included Led Zep's "Stairway to Heaven", Kansas' "Dust in the Wind", and Heart's "Crazy On You".

A couple I think should be in any top Acoustic play list is "Time In A Bottle" and "Operator" my Jim Croce. "Rocky Mountain High' and "Annie's Song" by John Denver.

Always good to see the acoustic guitar get some recognition. I can't argue much against what you included, and as you say you have to cut it off somewhere or it'll go on forever... But I would humbly suggest "Classical Gas" definitely should've made the top 20.
