ОтветитьI paid a fiverr gig 100$ to create a resume and they ended up heavy with information stuffed into columns and tables. I have sent out 1000s of resumes and received 3-4 calls, meaning the ATS was playing dirty probably. Damn, my time got wasted 😮

ОтветитьRecruiters love saying the ATS isn't real and doesn't exist and no matter how hard I forage looking or any information to back them up I never find it, but it doesn't stop them from actually gaining up on you and using the LinkedIn fake it till you make it attitude to keep bombarding you with bulshit honestly I'm just f**** done I hope the ATS and recruiters start biting companies in the ass. All they want it seems is the perfect robot with a broken spirit to work for them.
ОтветитьNOT a fan of ATS! Apply for a job but you have to essentially gear your resume using SEO principles. Employers want people with great interpersonal skills, yet , your resume isn't reviewed by a human being and the rejection letter you get is a computer generated form letter. Great interpersonal skills there.... Good info I'm sure if your looking to beat the system, but when things aren't broken, don't go messing with them. HR staff/employers need to go back to reviewing applications and resumes. throw out the Applicant Trashing System!

ОтветитьThis is ridiculous. Now people have to constantly change their resumes so ATS can collectively find many keywords the applications have. No wonder why I constantly get rejected from employers.

ОтветитьMy three positions with one company does not register well with the ATS. ATS sorts them as separate positions with incomplete company information. How should a resume be formatted to get past that?

ОтветитьIt’s actually infuriating that I need to “dumb down” my resume because a computer automatically throws out 75% of people that apply.... Who are probably more qualified then the 25% it pics out because those people know how to cheat a computer, rather than the rest who are actually qualified but just have a resume that a computer

I'm seriously wanting to sue. Nobody could possibly imagine the difference between my resume and what this rediculous software spits out.
ОтветитьVery annoyed at this software and the sheer lazyness and unprofessional behaviour of those that used it. I have been ignored for four years now. There is nothing wrong with my resume if you actually read it. But so I found out today, god only knows why, but after being put through this software, i look like a complete loser. Doesn't even make any sense. It is completely ignoring all of the work i have done over the years and only mentioning to employers the few years of security work i did while at Uni. This has ruined me and my sons life.

But hey, don't you worry, you humans out there. You can trick the machine by adjusting your resume: just take all individuality out of it, no fancy fonts or pictures, don't get too creative!

In other video I saw that Times New Roman font CVS are automatically deleted by ATS. So, I don't know who to believe. It seems so hard to determine what really works :/ . Sorry if my comment seems to be bothering but I really got very confused having this two different sides abot the Times new roman font.
