ОтветитьVery nice “friendly” review. I’d like to buy a new Ranger, but I’m going to wait for the 6 ft bed extended cab…might be a long wait. Cheers!
ОтветитьYou have to love physical keys. Car thieves take anything with a push button ignition these days.
ОтветитьTom, this is amazing!
ОтветитьAwesome review! Thank you for that
Ответитьthank you for the review! you nailed it
Ответитьunfortunately a test drive isnt going to give you all the info you need. I purchased a 2024 tacoma and the number of issues and inconveniences it has are astronomical. A lot of stuff that no one seems to be covering in reviews, either they dont know to look for or dont understand that theres an actual problem there. for anyone looking, stay away from the tacomas at this time.
Ответить😂
ОтветитьThanks Sir, you just helped me feel much better about the technical aspects of the purchase I am about to make!
ОтветитьThat's a heavy price for nothing shown better than a Nissan.
ОтветитьI like these but the price is wild

ОтветитьWe have had many Fords and GMs in our business and I wanted to buy what I felt was the best affordable trucks for one of my long-term employee and good friend. We have 2 7.3 Godzilla's and a 6.6 gas and diesel from GM...and a 03 GMC and 07 Ford 1/2 tons both with over 230k miles. So, I am familiar with large trucks. I went to Nissan and Toyota first and drove them both. The Asians have been typically more reliable over the years. I was not impressed other than the rebates and cost was excellent for what you got on the Frontier but steering sucked and although I liked the simple V6 it felt I was driving something from 20 years ago. I then went to drive the Colorado. It was in the mid 40's and felt better but not what I wanted to spend. Next went to drive the Ranger, wasn't even on my radar. This review says it all. I loved the truck; it was the most comfortable and the seats were absolutely the best. Very quiet and felt the largest and had the best hi-tech for the money. sticker was 39k for a 2wd xlt sport package and I got it for 500 under invoice...basically 2k less than sticker. There are no rebates or low financing which sucks but I was right in the same price (maybe 1k more) as the Nissan Frontier and looked and felt better all-around with more equipment. Great review. Subscribed.

ОтветитьIt's ridiculously over priced!
ОтветитьTom, would you review a base model Jeep Wrangler, with the manual windows and locks? A 2 door/soft top as well. Let's see what you think of those. A throwback, and tons of fun.
ОтветитьPHYSICAL KEY??? I drive a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sport that has manual windows and locks (I wanted that, less to break and easier to remove the doors), and that gets some weird looks, but it does offer a push button start. To me, all vehicles need push button start. That's a BIG FAIL from Ford in my mind.
ОтветитьNeeds a Super-cab model.
ОтветитьI love my 12 year old F150, but it's just too big for what I need it for now. Waiting for the 2.7L twin turbo Ranger Lariat, then I'll pick one up.
ОтветитьTurbo whine really bothers this guy.
ОтветитьI like 2024 Ford Ranger but no sunroof ❤💃🏿
ОтветитьMake a basic super cab with a v6 and I will pay msrp today! If I wanted a car I will buy one? Genz and millennials?
ОтветитьI love my new XLT FX4 with the 2.3L. It's so good.
ОтветитьThanks for mentioning that the new Ranger is 4x8-friendly. In this midsize segment that’s a huge plus. Think not, ask any contractor.
Ответитьnice review. But, my biggest complaint, is that FORD is not offering RANGER as a Hybrid. Come on FORD, lets get a PowerBoost RANGER to market!! Merci
ОтветитьNo six ft bed ,extra cab or manual trans. . What ??? U can keep that crap
ОтветитьToo expensive, no thanks!!!!!!
ОтветитьIf Ford put that rubber belt inside the engine to drive the oil pump, expect ahellsish bill at 100k miles. The whole front of the engine needs to come off to replace it. If it goes out after warranty, expect the bill to be a new engine.
ОтветитьI sold the Ranger in 2011, but we lost it, as back then it was not competitive with Taco.
ОтветитьTom is one of the best at doing this. His voice, conversational style and information are always top-notch!
ОтветитьNursing my old 2006 until a phev I like is available.
ОтветитьNeeds a 6 foot bed badly.
ОтветитьToo bad the truck costs about 15K more than it should....
ОтветитьI stopped watching at the manual key
Ответить$52K for a four cylinder Ranger XLT with thin seats and hard plastic everywhere. Nope
Ответить$47k is absolutely insane for a mid sized
ОтветитьThanks! Good review!
ОтветитьMKHD sucks at car reviews but great in tech. So dont lower your car reviewing skills :-)
ОтветитьFord is over priced garbage. Id rather walk than deal with all the problems ford owners have.
Ответить47k for a 4 cylinder 4wd XLT ranger is outrageous. I’d go XL 4wd with a E-lockers and call it good for 39k. To me that’s still too much for an extry level 4wd little pickup. The maverick was supposed to be the dirt cheap truck but they raised the price on those nearly 6k from what they promised at launch.
ОтветитьThese emotional support vehicles are still a far cry from the genuine work trucks that only the Ford Maverick gets closest to
ОтветитьFords Echo boost motors are Junk!
ОтветитьRight size in an extended cab with a six foot bed.
ОтветитьI’ve always loved rangers. But they should never cost more than $16k.
ОтветитьWhy are all midsizers ditching ext cabs? In canada no one offers ext cab they all discontinued them and just have 4door short box 4x4. Disapointing
Ответить$47k cloth seats, keyed ignition, and no rear vents? Really?
ОтветитьYou should review the 2024 Ridgeline
