Ответитьwerewolf reminds me of loathe i’m sorry, it’s not thaaat bad actually i can listen to it without a problem BUT CS, HELL NAH.
ОтветитьI can't unhear the Nobody riff help me
Ответитьwho’s singing in this track?
Ответитьas a rapper inspired by metal bands i love how rap and metal are together now
ОтветитьParts of that was heavier than BMTH lolol
ОтветитьNot gonna lie. This shit slaps.
ОтветитьGOT BARE BAD BONES IN MY BACKPACK
ОтветитьStill remembering Pouya pioneereed the new wave with his collab with Volumes in On My Mind
Ответитьthis song is good, but for NFS as soundtrack? i don't no
ОтветитьI would pay so much money for Mike the music snob to react to this song
ОтветитьDefinitely hear the Deftones reference from Koi No Kai. And it sounds like it's tuned to 440
ОтветитьAll the hate he got on tiktok was undeserved, uzi goes hard with metal.
ОтветитьThis is a weed smoking song
Ответитьmy bullies would listen to lil uzi vert and would bully me for listening to metal…
😂
I'm old enough to remember the Nu Metal scene from when I was a teenager and it wasn't great. Rap and Metal didn't mix well then and it shouldn't now! As far as gate keeping, the biggest gate keepers are hip hop fans who bully their peers for liking non "urban" music. In the metal community we shouldn't gate keep, but to look for more main-stream validation doesn't feel right.
Music, like most things, is a consumer product with a target consumer demographic; so to try to make it a cross-over genre to an unlikely fan seems pointless. I'm not against metal going "mainstream," if facts I'm a dinosaur that remembers when it was fully mainstream. I just want Metal to reemerge by it's own merit.
This is not a critique of Lil Uzi Vert! In fact, I find it courageous that he want's to challenge expectations and broaden his lane. I think it's smart of him to try to catch a wider audience and bring them into the fold. The challenge will be to do that and not alienate more traditional hip hop fans in the process. Just my 2 cents!!
this is totes deftones haha
ОтветитьHeavier then Metal Artists? Absolutly not... but it's awesome seeing Rap Artists throw different stuff at their fans to introduce new stuff to them, it's pretty sick... You're already seeing solid mosh pits at them too!
ОтветитьI heard Lil Uzi Vert was moshing at a Lorna Shore show. Dude is a real metalhead.
ОтветитьKorntones
ОтветитьThis brought me right back to the Jay-Z Linkin Park collab era! Been loving the genre blending we are seeing more of in modern metal
ОтветитьWas good until he sing.
Edit: This is good cause its a gateway for better songs.
Lil Zaraki
Ответитьkorny deftones
ОтветитьWhat revival nic Deftones,KoRn and Slipknot are still hella relevant
ОтветитьAm I the only one that's also getting some Sempiternal vibes here, apart from Uzi's verse? The sort of heavy but dreamy instrumentation with a lot ambient guitars and soundscapes thrown in, the mix of growls and cleans, and also the sorta subdued vocal mix. I swear that chorus reminds me of a lot of those songs on that record with the way he's singing it, sorta like a progression on the vibe they had going on songs like CYFMH, Sleepwalking, Go To Hell etc. Idk man, maybe I'm crazy.
ОтветитьThis is NOT a Lil uzi song, it should be feature lil uzi 😂
Ответитьthis feels like the sequel of Polyphia x Lil West - Chimera, maybe they inspired Lil Uzi
ОтветитьThe amen song by the same group is a lot better
Ответить"weez gonna dooz it" jesus christ
ОтветитьHuge Linkin Park vibes
ОтветитьListen to king by xxxtentacion rap been doing metal
ОтветитьThats now #1 on charts ❤️🔥
ОтветитьNot tryin to hate but the chorus is the best part of the song by miles and 100% think it deserved better verses
ОтветитьIt was more like bmth’s song ft lil uzi lmao fucking bullshit
ОтветитьTesseracT just released their new single War of Being today.
ОтветитьDude this shit goes harder than MGK. MGK can’t do any music right lol.
ОтветитьI’ve grown up listening to all kinds of music. From 50s stuff from my grandmother, 70s-80s my parents and other relatives, to rap, hip hop, rock, metal, prog, metalcore and so on. Really I love seeing bands experiment now. 35 I’ve heard so much of each genre I Invite crossbreeds of music genre. It doesn’t always work but when it does it’s just fun and refreshing to hear anything besides the same old.
ОтветитьShould have been korntones
ОтветитьI love uzi and listen to mostly trap but I also love his metal songs even tho I don’t listen to that genre at all. Baby metal killed it as well. Hope he keeps going in this direction.
ОтветитьIt reminds me of a Glasslands in the chorus and Deftones in another part a bit.
ОтветитьYou gotta love that rappers don’t care what they have on an album it’s awesome
ОтветитьAt least Hip Hop artists are showing they have love Metal still. It doesn't mean they can even do it well, it's about the trying part out of love.
It's mediocre: Auto-Tune need not apply.
This is actually good holy fuck
Ответитьbmth made uzi sound like the feature
ОтветитьHe also did a song with baby metal
ОтветитьThe chorus gives me the Starset vibes for some reason
ОтветитьIt’s good though
ОтветитьBefore anyone thinks anything about Uzi I want you to listen to the beginning again cuz that's NOT Oli....THATS UZI
ОтветитьTruly awesome that more people can still be getting into Metal thanks to artists like Lil Uzi Vert. Didn't think much of him at first but he really impressed me with this album. There's so much in Metal that people can get into honestly if they give it a chance. If you like more Hip Hop, you got Nu Metal type music and stuff like this song. You don't like it as loud, well as far as I know no genre is exempt of having Ballads. There is something for everyone in Rock and Metal music if you really think about it, you just gotta ignore the nonsayers who wanna deny and make excuses why they don't like it as well as the elitists for not being the type of Rock or Metal they feel it "should" be.
