My FIRST Impressions of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Botw was incredible and totk just cranked it up to 11 and really does things that other games only wish they could achieve its almost like you're playing creative mode in minecraft except it is just meant to be that way its absurd I can only imagine how difficult it was to develop this totk

I wasn't a huge fan of botw - felt quite empty and boring with little replay value for me personally, but totk is fantastic and exactly what i wanted moving on from botw. My only gripe is the music not being very engaging while playing. I really wanted them to include the lost woods and gerudo valley music in some way! Such a small issue though. It is so much fun and i cant stop playing 😂

I got it 2 weeks ago and havent put it down except for work and sleep. 😂😂

Why did they take the flute out of the game? That’s what I want to know.

I have never played a Zelda game before. But they have always looked great! As a new player, is it ok to start from the latest game?

Should i trade botw for totk?

i was playing totk while watching this and then you showed the totk themed switch with the satisfy grip and i was like : OH MY GOD T-T-T-THE SWITCH ITS THE SAME AS MINE OH MY GOD THATS SOO COOL, but feelings on the actual game 10 /10 i am too adducted to this game and every day before i got my hands on this game i would never wanna wake until i do but i just had so much fun that i started waking up at like 7 am in the morning when i used to wake up a 2 pm which is INSANE any ways 5 stars would recommend

2 months later: Still a 10/10 game for me

I've had BOTW sitting on my desk for at least 2 years. Then with this new one coming out, it made me think about it again. Watching this vid has gotten me excited to finally play BOTW so that I'm able to get to the new one. I'm 37 and don't play nearly as much as I once did - but you've awoken my interest again!

This game is actual hot garbage. Im blown away that so many people are enthralled by it.

They broke a bit of tradition here with the beginning... Your traveling a chasm with Zelda... Zelda traditionally starts
with Link waking up before you take control of him

This game is fantastic because it combines virtually every zelda game in some way shape or form, and adds a touch of its own to the mix. Imagine ANY zelda game you have ever played, you'll find a reference here. Ocerana of Time? There's the bomb flower right there! Twilight Princess? I personally found at least four weapons from that game in here. Even a game as overlooked as Link's Awakening has it's own hilarious suit of armor in this game! And it all is combined into one, which has the open-ness and looks of BotW, and the touch of it's own as a chef's kiss. I implore you, if you haven't already, buy this game and enjoy every cent spent while you go through this adventure. Sorry to sound like an ad, but I'm being completely genuine; go have some fun! 🙂

I was doing laundry and had to wait an hour. Fired up TOTK. Three hours later I came back to reality and realised that I missed my time slot and now I’m locked out from the laundry room (rental apartment) and can’t get to my soaking clothes 😂

I've played games for 35 years, and this is IMO the best of the best. An astonishing achievement!

I played mostly every game that came out recently ...well.."recently"...
I played Horizon (and honestly the only fun i had was with the dlc) i played God of War and it was...meh ... I played Elden Ring and dare i say 🙄 the whole time it just made me wanna play the other fromsoft games i already finished so many times, literally finished it only 4 times for the platinum and never touched it again, maybe when the dlc drops ? Idk ...i played SW Jedi Survivor and it was ok ...RE4R , i honestly only liked it because of the nostalgia , played Stray and the only thing i liked abt the game is how my gf was reacting to the cats everytime 😂 ...
But man , i never had so much fun playing a game like TOTK since i played DQ11 , loved it so much i did absolutely everything in that game for the plat ...and now with TOTK ..my ps5 is taking a much deserved break 😂 ...when im at home i play TOTK, when im at work i wish i can play it ...i have to wake up at 4am for work ....and last night i played it till 3am 🤣

i really thought id be overwhelmed by all the new mechanics in totk but theyve had it so user friendly and its all been so easy to learn

I have over 160 hours into the game so far. And yes, if you know where the final boss is, you can run straight there. I actually accidentally stumbled across him, thinking I was going the right way, ( I wasn't. Lol) and beat him, triggered the end of the game without meaning too. Lol I still had 2 dungeons left when that happened. Lol

Unless you got yours for only 15% off too why would i do that? Advertising higher prices for something that you get for free while advertising the high price that people who dont make as much money seems strange to me.
