Hi Ben, I was following your other video, "How to Start a Food Blog - Step by Step Tutorial for Beginners" and started making the child theme but ran into an issue. I've followed this video and changed the code, but when I press analyze this message still pops up:

Notice: Trying to get property 'comment_status' of non-object in /home1/resumex2/public_html/wp-includes/comment-template.php on line 1244

What should I do?

I LOVE YOU!!! I'm a noob to Wordpress but do have BlueHost and I was so scared when I saw the debug PHP error when attempting to create my child theme! You were SOOOO easy to follow and explained every step that this noob needed to do and hear you walk me through. I wish every tutorial had you as an instructor/host! I will most definitely be a fan/follower. YOU ROCK!!

There is no section to edit, delete the plugin and the topic of the child, everything is missing, there is no even.

Hi Ben, Fantastic content and tutorial - thank you. I seem to get a different error message when installing the Child theme in Olsen Lite:
"The theme "Olsen Light" generated unexpected PHP debug output." "Notice: Undefined index: mapquest_api_key in /home4/jimandt1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/leaflet-maps-marker.php on line 739 "
I tried commenting out the code snippet as instructed in this video but it did not help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Hi Ben. Thank you so much for your videos! You have no idea how helpful they are as I have no idea what I am doing. When I was creating a Kale Child theme those yellow error messages popped up, but I still complete the process of creating it and it did let me complete it. Do I still need to fix it?
