things I hope are better than in FC5 are physics and mobility. With physics I mean more things what can destroy, like walls. With mobility I mean that you could actually parkour and go through points you could go IRL but not in FC5

Well, the "Cuba" vibe, besides the dictatorship of course, is mostly the geographical setting, but obviously the main inspiration thematically are fascist dictatorships like Pinochet's in Chile. So it's like a mix of both.

I really hope this Far Cry returns to a more critical tone. Far Cry 5 was a travesty. How can I get the feeling I’m in a perilous place and can die any second when I’m trotting around with a pet bear and goofy characters like Hurk and Sharkey. Don’t even get me started on how much they tip-toed around anything even remotely objectionable. And, just when I found an ounce of fun they ripped me out of the gameplay to have a talk with me. Far Cry 5 is best forgotten.

Far Cry 2 and 3 are considered the best in most folk’s mind and I did get the feeling of danger in 2 for sure. Nothing but a handheld map, poor weapons, and allies I didn’t trust, as I trekked through the desert for blood diamonds in pursuit of an arms dealer. Not sure 2 will ever be topped. They need to return to that level of immersion and believability. That said, I can tell from the trailer and rare gameplay screenshots that this will be one for the ages.

PS - I do not think Vaas is the boy but I do think he will play a small role in the story, an underboss of sorts.
