The Margit shackle only works two times then it stops working 🥲

This is super cool. I just beat him with a strength build and was curious how your response to him was. I used the Ruins Sword +9 on him. (I did quite a lot of prep before going to the capital)

this helped greatly , every time i’d get him down to about 1 -2 hits he would bombard me with attacks and then use his red sword to pick me up and kill me was completely unavoidable 🤣🤣🤣

thank you for your way of fighting this boss, I increased the statistics, e.g. dexterity to about 40 and I used the moon veil and the headless ghost and Melanie managed to do it because I was running out of ideas on how to defeat him thanks

Currently it doesn’t seem to be working :/ I could only get four stomps in him before he broke free, then he just dashed and moved around the arena, after I stunned him twice and frost stomped him three times each, only then did he start the sword rain attack. This strategy doesn’t work

Why would you cheese one of the best fights ?

i used my mimic ash tear fully upgraded, bloody slash on my nagakiba and uchikatana both +17 and margits shackle used twice and it finished him off

I just run at him without that n hit him very hard with bloodhounds fang

60 seconds nah I got it done in 23 seconds

“It should only take about 4 hits to finish him off” … Yeah but it only takes him one hit to finish me off 😅

Wait when we get the Hoarfrost stomp, are we supposed to use Standard, Magic, or Frost?

Best way to kill godfrey ( i couldnt do you way with bow there was no way in my version of game to dodge his moves) was with night & flame swordylein and Blockwall Lame Skeletons

i just spammed black flame and got a few hits with a +9 bloodhounds fang

The frost does no damage to him like barley

I wanna actually learn his attacks though, I don’t wanna use the shackle

Bro after the nerf I js can’t do it I keep dying

Took my two times. First time I didn’t know who I was about to fight. Second time I just summoned my Lhutel summon and the spirit ash pretty much tanked the whole fight. Used my Margit Shackle and kept my shield up and used my lightning glaive when I had the opportunity.

How do you get those skills, the yellow trap and the ice spell?

Man I feel so shit and dirty. I summoned my spirit and Melina (first time summoning a Co-OP). I was tired and couldn't be bothered to learn the fight especially since I'm melee and one shotted him.
I feel so dirty especially after the cutscenes and see him laying there😪. Wish I could've redo this fight wo starting over.

Hoarfrost Stomp was nerfed really hard in patch 1.03. Like the reduced damage by half and increased FP cost kind of hard. This was pre-patch.

Hoarfrost stomp isnt required i did this with lions claw on +15 greatsword bit more dodging but easy

How come sometimes when I use it it does like 60 damage and then like once or twice it does 800?

Was a fun fight and well designed boss, though very frustrating to fight against with very few openings to hit for melee. As always, visage shield, +14 uchigatana, Melina and Ancestral Spirit Ashes. Blocking his magic hits was a pain. Took quite a few more tries than I would've preferred, but it was epic. Everyone was very low and I was running out of flasks when I finally caught a crit. Melina died and left me and my ancestral bro fight him when he had 20% left but could one shot us. For some reason the ancestral bro got all the aggro while I spammed the uchigatana in Morgott's behind, it was a close one.
