My dad passed away in July. 3 months before, he sent me this song, I listened to it without paying really attention to the lyrics. I listened to it again a week ago. It made me cry so damn much. It was like he was talking to me. I miss you dad.

Our youngest child, and only daughter, got married this past Friday, August 11, 2023. This is the song that she and her dad danced to for the Father-Daughter dance. Our daughter is 23 and loved this movie when she was little. She and her dad have loved this song ever since. Needless to say, there really wasn’t a dry at the reception when their dance was over. ❤

I listen to this song and it breaks my heart, I wish my dad was like this, but alas i have one of those dads who always pit you down for not doing enough. I just wish he was a dad who cared about me. But this song is nice it's lovely the meaning is beautiful as well.

This is truly a beautiful song. We used it at my daughter’s wedding for the father/daughter dance. And then to this day although it’s been many years, I mist up at the chorus. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music.

My daughter & I danced to this at her wedding in July 2019 and it's still one of the most magnificent moments of my life and hopefully for her as well. I tear up every time I hear it and will treasure this song forever! It was the perfect song for us! Thanks you so very much to my gorgeous wife for finding this song for us!
