Keyword Intent is Overrated...Use This Instead

what do you say about review generator?

I don’t understand this method? in all my research when doing keyword research we go for low hanging fruit and look at what is in the serps on google once we type the keywords into google . The problem I have with this method is let’s say the top 10 search serps are a mix but of that mix some are low in content word count, some are not written well and some are great . There is no way of telling why the top ones are up there by search results alone . some are just written better than others and some might be from high authority websites and that’s why they are in top 10 . So of those top 10 there might be 7 how to post not because people are searching more for that but because of authority, better content on the page, keyword optimization on the page and maybe a older post . It just so happened that those top 7 articles written with great content, more words, and high domain authority used how to post with that keyword and now they are ranking . This is why I do not get this idea. I would almost say do the opposite of the articles showing if they are all great written articles so you do not have to compete especially if they have high domain authority and many back links . Please comment on this. Thanks

So is it not necessary to alter the keyword to match a focused SERP intent? It's all about the content itself? Would it help to alter the keyword to match?

This is probably why I won't do SEO for clients in the hotel industry. The SERP intent Google tells us is that everyone is shopping around for pricing, location, comfort, etc; all conveniently shown in the snippet. Even then, you'll be competing with aggregators and travel blogs for keywords that won't really help you
