Player Death & Respawn | 2D Platformer in Unity #9 | 2D Game Dev Tutorial

Couldn't you just change the position of the player to the position of the respawn point? Wouldn't that be easier?

Hi, I recently started using unity and I am following your video. I made the scripts, but I am getting an error message. I cant figure out what the problem is. Can someone help me?

Assets\Scripts\PlayerDeath.cs(3,37): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'Collision2D' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Im getting the error Assets\PlayerDeath.cs(10,31): error CS0122: 'LevelManager.Respawn()' is inaccessible due to its protection level

So I did this and it kinda works, but its got a strange problem: once the player character gets respawned it keeps respawning whenever it touches the ground afterwards. my whole movement system is based around tags and the ground has a "Ground" tag. has anyone else had this problem?
