Should You Form 1 Your AR-15 Pistol or Form 4 an SBR? (Pros & Cons)

took about 25 days to get my AR pistol to sbr tax stamp using e-forms.

Here it is the end of 2023….. yea that didn’t happen.

o you still need to notify for crossing state lines with a Form 1? I currently am doing a complete build from a lower, when bought, was simply labeled as "firearm". Pretty sure that can me configured in pistol form but thinking about going through the properly process to put a real stock on it.

Only things that should be regulated are explosives and full auto weapons. Suppressors and SBRs shouldn’t require anything other than a standard background check.. Abolish the ATF

I live 4 miles from a state line. Own farm land in both states. It's a mess. Just recognize the Constitution and tell us the nfa is unconstitutional.

Love how these laws are only applied and enforced on the people who are least likely to commit a crime.

What if you get an own an AR pistol for a while and decidei want to make it a legal SBR? What takes place there since you already have the arm in posession?

I have a beautiful ar pistol in my cart ready for purchase, but due to this corrupt ruling 🥹 I can't get it ,I refuse to pay a $200 tax on a incomplete rifle to make it complete🤡 make it make sense

I can't believe that people get paperwork or license for stuff that is already afforded in the Constitution. All their doing is playing into a government system of control just like Hitler Germany. I for one will never have a license to posses a firearm or peripherals for firearms. I will however own all the fun stuff without giving the government any of my information because I don't have to.

Totally not worth it. I’d end up with an officer who doesn’t know the difference with my luck.

Only thing I can think of is, for an everyday law abiding gun owner. I’d have only one “True home defense” weapon. Having a SBR suppressed is only justification for going through a process like that. Everything else will remain for range fun/collectors item.

i live in texas and my sbr is for shtf anyway and free men dont ask permission from the gAyTF or any other dumbass in a suit let em find out the hard way

Can’t you buy the pistol and then form 1 it for the stock and grip? Does being a fed supervise the need for state transfer permission

First no silencers shouldn't be on the nfa list

If I bought a plain stripped Anderson multi cal lower how do i know if it’s a rifle lower or pistol? I’ve never used it for anything yet

I love guns, but every time I hear a gun guy say suppressors should be protected under the 2nd I wanna slap a cute puppy. The firearm is the firearm and nothing else is. Pistol brace isn't a firearm, suppressors are not firearms, attachments are not firearms.
