I used a mod that lets me spawn in Louisville on a buildings rooftop and i turned it into a base and goodman is only a few blocks away from me

Just like any other survival game, you can reach a point where it's just too easy and you have everything. Though it's alot harder in this game, and unless you are a genius, you will probably die to a single crawling zombie while having the best gear in the game
