I work at the same firm as this very inspiring young man… I have a lot of questions about the 172k number. Let me just say, there is not a single 23 year old in the org that is paid this much. So im curious how much of that figure is from the side hustles. My guess is he is just north of 100k base salary, like 25%ish bonus, so like $125k so the side must be grossing him like 50k extra.

The only unfortunate thing about this specific work culture is that they're making extreme amounts of high dollar money for as little real work as possible. It's mostly a face they're putting on to the public for a company. Showing up in a nice suit, having a nice demeanor, open-minded attitude, having unwaveringly loyalty to the brand they're representing, and willing to travel in a moments notice. Then, the money will flow off the backs of hard-working blue collared American's that make pennies on the dollar which line the pockets of people like this.
