This version of Blade NEEDS desperate time in the gym to portray an anti hero with above human strength and capabilities. Even Will Smith as Muhammad Ali, and Idries Elba as Heimdahl in Thor both had the physical presence of their parts portrayed. This BLADE Is too small for the Directors' Cut.

Decent video, but this is not going to be anywhere near as good as the real Blade. They should have considered an 'handover to the next generation' scenario, it might have worked, but Snipes' Blade is iconic. And I can't see anyone matching N'Bushe Wright either.

wrong black man to play blade, they should have picked someone who had more of a animalistic presence then Mahershala, someone who could play a man whos potential for violence is barely held back. But thats just me, i am sure Disney will not ruin this too.

Mahershala Ali is a wonderful and talented actor and I'm certain his Blade character will kick ass, however,... Wesley Snipes is and will always will be Blade. Hollyweird is doing itself a major disservice by not casting him as Blade.

Don't get me wrong i want blade content but hard R and very easy on the CGI. Gore/blood/ practical effects heavy 🪨 stick to the source material and I'd really like to see Snipes back but they gotta be on that level. Buff, cool, physically nimble, base in martial arts.

Nothing against the actor playing Blade, it's not his fault, but his voice just didn't do it for me...I really enjoyed Wesley Snipes voice as Blade, but I am also a sucker for flashy fight scenes and action, so if they can at least nail that part I'll be able to get past the voice differences

No disrespect to Mahershala Ali .This got nothing to do with Wesley snipes. I’m sure he’ll do a good performance but in the visual aspect of it I don’t think he has enough aggressive feature to seem like a serious intimidating blade… hopefully his acting overshadows that. Good luck m.a

I'll absolutely see the real thing. I've loved mahershala Ali since the 4400. Snipes signed off on it, hell for all we know he will show up at some point with all the multiversal stuff.
