I tried the fix and changed the format of the usb for the error Cd-34788-0. Now I’m getting the error su-30649-2. Still not letting me update. I have a usb with a folder PS4, within that folder is the UPDATE folder. Within that is the update Still not working

question ..why can't i use the blue ray drive to boot the file PS4UPDATE.PUP..instead of a flash drive ..once burnt to a cd the file can't be changed ..my enquiry

You are a life saver I was having issues with the file from Playstation web site but I now just try your 2ed method and it seem to work where did you found this 2nd method can't tell thats ok thanks so mush anyway 😀

I did step one and it said, "the update file couldn't be used. Connect usb device with version 7.50 or later". (CE-34788-0) Do I need to try the second method and wipe my console?

Ive done everything and when it says the preparing for update it takes me right back to the same screen when I enter safe mode
